That's actually a pretty decent way to sum it up.It's... okay. Don't get me wrong, saying it's okay by Acerola standards means it is still miles better than your average HRPG game, but compared to their previous titles it feels lacking in the H department.
I do quite a bit and I'd say Tear has some of the best scenes for me. Maybe not all, in fact I didn't enjoy quite a lot of them but for example "bad" ending was pretty damn good. I liked how they didn't forget the ribbons for example. And boy, I'm nuts for things like Tear did there. While I generally don't give a shit about the story in H games, the writing is surprisingly good.
I tried out your version and it seems like when using the Heal skill from the menu the text that pops up is in japanese.Bug fixes and quality of life improvements
I'll see what I can do to bring in their fixes.I tried out your version and it seems like when using the Heal skill from the menu the text that pops up is in japanese.

On a diferent note looks like KG just released a new patch to fix squares instead of text and some other issues:
Patch v1.01
-Fixed an untranslated message showing when using a healing skill through the menu
-Fixed voice lines getting out of sync during a certain scene
-Corrected a button tooltip in the menu
-Fixed some item descriptions getting cut off in the clothes shop
-Fixed various instances of untranslated text
-Fixed a missing sound file error
-Fixed some scenes displaying incorrect conditions
Would be nice if someone updated the dl links in the thread with the 1.01 version ventually.
We can always wait and see if @ボスB. - 毛皮でほしかった manages to get a updated version of the game first. (not sure how to tag someone properly without actually quoting them).I'll see what I can do to bring in their fixes.
Yeah, I spent some time in windbg trying to find how they are validating if you have the steam version or not.We can always wait and see if @ボスB. - 毛皮でほしかった manages to get a updated version of the game first. (not sure how to tag someone properly without actually quoting them).
Some of those bugfixes look like something that can be hard to fix without knowing exactly where to look, like the supposed desync of voice lines.
So i would say to wait a bit and see if someone uploads 1.01 .
Yes, that is why it says uncensored on the first post.is this include the uncensored patch already?
There is plenty for her. Try donating to the Cat's paw until you unlock the Fox HoleI don't understand, is there no lewd content for the character Korin in the game?
Yeah i was doing some tests myself with no luck.Yeah, I spent some time in windbg trying to find how they are validating if you have the steam version or not.
Basically without the offical Script.vdf you cannot install the "steam patch". I still don't know how kvsignatures is calculated, so I think I'm stuck.
Put this in your Tear folder, and the patch will install. (Extract the zip file, F95 won't let me post a vdf file.)Yeah i was doing some tests myself with no luck.
Either someone shares the 1.01 installer from jast or fakku , etc etc.
Or someone shares the steam game and it can possible be cracked.
The patches is the reason why i feel people shouldnt name threads as "Final", because well... they arent.
Once you're to the level of procmon/windbg then even memory of the running application is open to you.Not sure how you managed but its better to keep some secrets anyway.
But i tip my hat to you. Worked just fine.
sir, many thanks for doing this, specialy by compressing the game and make it a little smaller. Im from a place where internet is limited by 4Gb of navigation montly and every Mb counts. So Wolf RPG is a PITA when it comes to cleanup/translation/fixing things. Very little of the code was in English meaning integration of new updates should be easy.
I did find text for both Brave Alchemist Colette and Phantom Thief Celianna as well as a number of unconnected maps (looks like the library was going to be a real maze, but they dropped that.)
That all said, I have here a gift:
Change Log for Tear and the Library of Labyrinths1.00.1Bug fixes and quality of life improvementsFixes
