I wonder when the dev will do an update for the trip arc or maybe even the MC's grandpa. Or if the next update will still revolve around the entire intro arc. Also did the dev remove the old scenes from Kanon's pov to refo them? It just ends at the dressing room. For now it still ended at the part where it always ended back in 1.0. Still tho, I'm glad the dev's working on the game again

yeah 1.0 had a complete set of Kanon's pov up until the public bathroom sex. wonder if the dev removed it to redo it or something. still, I hope we get the next arc after or her visiting their house before they leave. Hiro's grandpa seems to be interested in Kanon or something. But I heard the xmas one wasn't canon

1.0 did not have the Kanon POV at all, only Hiro. Except the final part after the bathroom sex and Hiro left and the sex scene with Kanon and Yukihiro, which had internal thoughts of Yukihiro
It was first introduced in 1.2 and only goes to the changing room scene.

Hmm, had a bit of expectation on this but.. seem be your generic ntr story with mc totally dumb and very clueless even tho it shouldn't be based on his background (that very little we get) and the way he speak, honestly is disappointing and just frustrating (these things are better be with female mc only), too much hints in too short time, not even enough time to establish a proper connection.
The story telling is well written and the scenes have plenty of CG to not get boring, the only problem is the content

It's most disappointing that the MC is too dumb, there are too many moments where even the blind and deaf understand what the girlfriend is doing. The author makes it clear at the very beginning that they have known each other since childhood, but for some reason Hiro does not know her at all, as if he had just met her for the first time (this is all we know that they have known each other since childhood and apparently the author thinks that other details are not important ). It is made pretty clear how much in love Hiro is with Kanon.
Anyone who has been head over heels in love with anyone will know their brain do a lot of mental gymnastics to put the object of their love in the most positive light even ignoring clear danger signals or even evidence of their love interests bad sides shown by long time friends and family.
For me the only thing that was unbelievable to me was a guy his age living in a civilized sotiety with even a mediocre of sexual education would be having so little undertanding of the female menstrual cycle, not that it really was an issue for me reading it since it made for a scene I enjoyed.
But it is totally fair if his inability to see these things made it suck for someone, to me it just did not matter at all in any negative way.

This could be an argument if Hiro had just fallen in love with Kanon and would have been blinded by his feelings for her, but they've known each other since childhood and that feeling of being in love is long gone. You are trying to justify a bad plot and a very bad (but very canonical in the NTR genre) main character.

Them having known eachother since childhood does not mean they have been in love all that time. You can have known someone for many years before you fall in love with them. Their sexual and romantic relationship are very recent in their lives according to the timeline. If you look at it Kanon also acts much sweeter with Hiro than when we see her interact with people without his presence where another side is shown. It would of course be pure speculation at this point if this is a recent decelopment in her character from blossoming into a woman or it always was there and obvious to Hiro. None of us can really know from the current situation shown or when the "falling in love" happened.
The naive boyfriend seem to be a stable in some ntr, I agree on that. But using a trope does not make it bad, it expidites some storytelling that might want to focus on something else, in this case mystery ntr. But to me it is not as clear cut as it seem to be to you that it is bad plot or bad main character. So I don´t fully agree on that for the purpose of the story. That is not saying Hiro is the best written character ever.
To me in ntr is is more often unbeliavable, bad and ruining for stories with the rape or blackmail making a girl fall in love with some abuser than the boyfriend being a little naive with what his girlfriend is up to.
Kanon acts with Hiro only because they have known each other for a long time. Once again I ask what their love is, where does the author show at least something how they love each other? Hiro is a cliché main character of NTR games, he is dumb as a five year old child with a small dick unable to satisfy the sexual needs of his girlfriend, oh yes, how fresh and new this is, I have not seen such a thing in any NTR games, the author is a genius. I have a lot of experience in NTR games and characters like Hiro are 90% of the games in this genre. Kanon cheats on Hiro because he loves him so much, isn't that true love? But why should Kanon love Hiro for what, because he's dumb and looks like a loser and can't satisfy her sexually? Girls like Kanon (very proud) can only date guys like Hiro for profit or they are too stupid themselves. But what does this relationship with Hiro give her or what is the benefit to her why not just break up and fuck with Yokihiro, the logic is dead. Read more books and stop defending third-rate crap written by a person with no writing experience and a child's fantasy. Otherwise, with such defenders of NTR games, this genre will still be the shit that it is now due to the inability to make really interesting and more realistic events in the game and write normal stories and characters and not copy them from other games of this genre.

Personally for me TDK was the story I read where I felt the MC was most in love with the heroine. It made me in term fall in love with Kanon as well. No other story made me feel like that for a heroine. But Hiro is not what was important for my enjoyment of the story, feeling in love or what makes it fresh or unique. He is a vessel to get to the mystery ntr. Kanon is the star and the object of the "falling in love".(sound, music and pacing helped a lot in this) I never saw any ntr VN where I personally felt the "in love" with a female heroine as much as this. This feeling was of course subjectively for me when I read it the first time, but I know am not the only one who fell for Kanon during this read.
I also see how Kanon really care for Hiro in how scared she is if he found out, the girly way of wanting to kiss him, and naive way of wanting to fix it all for him with money, how she finally blush before she kiss him at the end.(Also stuff in xmas and Gyaru show this love, but for now we talk TDK)
About Kanon, Hiro and true love(true love is something completely different from the insane state of being "in love" we see in TDK) since she fuck someone else: For me what I often like about ntr is the struggle in the lady between love and lust.
For me Kanon seem to have a more naive girly crush on Hiro not reliant on sex, that might come from their more childish relation they had since childhood before they fell in love. But she has a womans lust ignited in her recently in her life. But she is strong enough to do something about with getting Yukihiro to fuck. Love comes in many ways and forms and are complex. The relation of Hiro and Kanon are does not particularly seem healthy, but more co-dependent, but that does not remove from the blind "in love" feeling they both seem to have.(And probably will be challenged during the story)
Most importantly the freshness of this story do not rely on Hiro. An author of any story has to decide how much time to spend on detail and character to keep pace and to not bog down the main point with endless info dumps. To me the character of Hiro finds a good balance of creating it from a stereotype I can quickly understand but with a slight bit of info. So I can focus on what really makes this story special: Kanon and the mystery ntr with the

For me what made a huge difference is that Kanon is a woman who acts on her lust and not only reacts when a "better" man comes along and push her. Kanon was the one acting and facilitating it herself and taking initiative. She had a need and she took action in a way I have rarely seen before. Most women in ntr is weak, timid and boring to me. They seem more or less to be sweety girlfriend passively waiting until a "real man" comes along and teach them pleasure and corrupt them. Not Kanon. This is not me saying it makes it the best story written ever, but it makes it stand out to me among ntr.

To think Hiro is the freshness or what makes this story uniqie is missing the point of what makes this story stand out imo.
No matter what I feel it is safe to say that the character of Hiro was a detriment to some people reading the story and his character was not a problem to other people.
Like for me: If a story has the lady blackmailed/raped or any Type B-ness at the start it will blind me on that as a negative and not really want to give other aspects that might stand out in that ntr a chance. So to me all blackmailing of the heroine(Or generally relying on an assertive netori and passive lady) is lazy writing, boring and the same as all other ntr that does that and far more than 90% of all ntr. Even if the the author and readers might not see this as an important aspect of the story and they just use it to get to some other stuff they want with the story that might make it stand out among all other story that does the (To me) Lame, lazy and overused trope of assertive man pushing on lady. That is not saying they are not different or some are not better written than other, they most certainly must be, for me it just all sucks in the same way.
So to me it seem like the ones whom Hiro ruins the story for has the same relation to him as an MC(And other naive MCs) As I have with assertive pushy man and passive lady in ntr.
Kanon fell in love with Yukihiro, but because she was too proud, she couldn't open her feelings to him. Yokihiro himself avoided her because he thought she was a very arrogant rich bitch. But later she found out that he fucks other women in public places and began to spy on him in order to catch him and start blackmailing him to belong only to her (she is jealous when Yokihiro said about a date with another). Their relationship is based on lust and passion for each other but they have not yet confessed their love to each other. But in the last scene in the hotel, she already calls Yokihiro by name and not a dog, as always, and invited him on a trip (in the dialog box, the author also added a lot of hearts to show that Kanon loves Yokihiro, and Yokihiro himself also understands that feelings for her much deeper) As for Hiro, he is needed here only for the game to have the NTR genre. And as I wrote earlier, Kanon does not love Hiro, if she loved, she would not cheat on him, because when he finds out about the betrayal, it will be good for him, do they do the same with their loved ones, do they hurt? Well, when Kanon kisses Hiro and blushes, this is not because she is shy, but because she is ashamed in front of him that she is cheating on him. Although she does not love him as her boyfriend, she appreciates him as a childhood friend, which is why she behaves like that with him. As for Hiro, he is written as a very dumb character, see for yourself, he knows about Yokihiro that that playboy fucks girls and Kanon "has" a dog named Yokihiro (what a coincidence) when she was choking with pleasure talking on the phone with Hiro then She kept saying her "dog's" name but Hiro is a very smart guy so of course he thought it was her period. All the events where Hiro does not even see a hint of suspicion that Kanon is cheating on him cause a facepalm, where she masturbates in a cinema near Hiro, but he even heard and did not sniff the smell, is this already complete nonsense? The author made a retarded Hiro who has not seen or heard anything in this life, although Kanon told Yokihiro that Hiro is very attentive, ahaha. The author needs to urgently go to writing courses. It does a pretty good job since it literally states it. Specially if you play/read the rest of the series where she literally overpowers and scares him halfway to death during mid fuck once he got too cocky with her. So i'd advice discussing after making opinions formed on properly following the material.
