Thanks for that. I was trying to break the mould with a lot of MC's where they have reached the age of at least 18 but are still so hopelessly clueless about how life works. I like to at least assume a bit of previous life experience to have occurred before we meet everyone.

EDIT: Untill I can test this out for myself I have decided to remove it from the thread until iI can be sure it works as intended.
Man, I want to like this game. The writing is actually pretty solid. I liked a lot of the dialogue, and it had me chuckling in a few places. But oof, the dev needs a new video card or someone else to do the renders, because they are rough. Every render is filled with sprites, most have clipping issues of one kind or another, lighting is off, models don't quite look right...
With a solid artist, I think the premise and writing would help make this an outstanding game. Dev, I want you to succeed, so please bear that in mind. You've got something here. But it could be something better. Redo the art for this release (either yourself or have someone do it) and come back fresh.

A lot of MCs are so bad it's hard to even enjoy the game. This one seems like a decent guy.
Also I really want Tasha to get a nice chomp in.

I'm still looking into that. This is my first time round so hadn't even thought to look at android.
Sorry, I think you really need to rethink the 'best friend' and 'daughter' models. Considering they're the main hooks into the story they need to be far more attractive to pull people in. Obviously the best stories have good writing (like LoM), which you seem to have, but the main love interests should also be attractive rather than slightly off-putting. I don't mean this in a mean way.

A big improvement would be getting the grain under control TBH, but I've got a suspicion that's pure hardware.
It's a slightly different look on the toons to be sure. Gives me a kind of backwoods mama vibe.
I think we're seeing some evolution as he goes as well. For example look at these two of Shayna from early and late in 0.1.7
In fairness, the shot of Shayna from the bar I tried an expressions set I had never used before. I then decided to never use it again. it really does alter her facial shape way too much.

I'm about 1.5 scenes away from completion of chapter 2. of course there will be the obligatory round of play testing before any sort of release and I think i was being a little bit TOO optimistic with my estimate of 3-4 months (computer says no...) I'm honestly hoping for mid to end of May at this point.
