Yes, this game as a specific target... and will never be abandoned!
the others u mentioned are not comparable because those talk about school years... this one talks about a couple relationship that has lasted for over 10 years-
This is the story of a couple who love to have sex with strangers without divorcing and this is clear since the prologue and the start... there are no similar stories in the games you mentioned... they are all for a younger target audiance (18/23 age)
This kind of story is going to be very difficult to reach more than 400 stable paying fans but the audience to which it is addressed is aged 30 and over, which is a public that can afford to spend more money than young people aged 18 to 30.

The age of the target audience of this story is older (they are high-valuable supporters).. TACOS is about a mature couple aged around 28/30 and TONY's choice that want to swap his wife with strangers to spice up their sex life, is not and will never be popular in the younger game players....
this story will (forever) cause a lot of discussion how a relationship between a man and a woman can last for 10/15 years without falling into a trivial couple who have sex only once a month.. . as in reality it happens!
There will always be many denigrators of this story because the majority of players under 30 believe in the tale of romantic and eternal love. ... hat doesn't exist in the reality! (with small and rare exceptions of couples who are usually formed by ugly and fat people)
Maybe ther woll be a fourth re-work of this game 2 years after the completion

It doesn't work after this scene, it gives me an error after which I can't continue playing
go to game folder (TACOS-part2-pc\game) then open day 11(rpy file) with notpad or another text edit program (my recommendation notepad++). find "v2thursannehome" and change it to "d11annehome". if you go with nicole route wont see this error also.
edit: btw we got this problem because dev just copy paste older versions texts and coding then edit it. so he missed this one.

thought it was a bit short, i enjoyed p2 esp since i didn't invite Ryan around so he gets no Anne action. who the hell in their right mind would want his wife fucking his best friend? i look at this in much the same way as allowing Anne to fuck Martin. not gonna happen provided the choices arise. and though not as much content as p1 Nicole looks a lot better too. but Anne still my main girl. can't wait for the next part.

I wouldn't describe it as finding jealousy pleasurable. Polyamorous either have a lower incidence (higher threshhold?) regarding jealousy (some claim they never experience it), or they have learned not to give it power (like the two wolves). In my own case, I've known envy, but I don't know if I've ever felt actual full-blown jealousy. My father, on the other hand, once told me that the fact that the thought of another man being with his wife made him sick to his stomach was a sign of "True Love."
A person who finds the feeling of jealousy pleasurable would probably fit into the cuckold/cuckqueen category rather than polyamorous.
One aspect of receiving pain (or giving welcomed pain) is that it can bring about the endorphin/dopamine rush. I had to learn this in order to give good erotic spankings as part of sensation play.
I have noticed a difference in the tone of the rewrite. Annie seems to be needing much more of a push to do anything in the original and seems to worry about what she did with Ryan. Also, (and I may be wrong about this because it's been so long since I played the original) but Tony actually felt bad after screwing the massuse and Nicole. That is a much different tone than the original. I like that the developer has decided to play it this way and hope he continues. My complaint with the original is that Annie went from "I don't know if I want to go that far", to "I'll fuck anything with a dick" in about one week. I can't say I'm crazy about playing a game again with the same scenes but good on the developer for changing the tone.
I think that's a good summary, also I'd add there could be other motivations behind it - as one of my favorite games "nothing is forever" narrates in dialogue during one scene -
It could just be a strong voyeurism fetish; most people get turned on from watching people having sex, and if the brain connection of "I know those people, that's my girlfriend/wife" is blocked out, they can purely enjoy the visual aspect.
I know for me this is more the case in enjoying these kinds of genres than any jealousy or humiliation aspect - it's as simple as "I like porn/watching people have sex" + "I think my gf is really hot" = "It's hot watching my girlfriend do real life porn in front of me". The stuntcock could be me or someone else, though generally its difficult to get the same visual appeal from first person (idc what anyone says pov porn is TRAAAASH) -but it could certainly be only myself and a mirror etc..

You're kinda missing the whole point of this VN. You're supposed to unlock as many scenes as you can during a single walkthrough. I don't get you people getting a bit too emotionally attached to these characters. It's a sex game! If they don't have sex, then why are we even here for?
