You can use Driver Booster or simmilar programm for it.
Pretty sure I remember reading somewhere to NOT use old saves, as saves before .67 cause crashes. It's probably even in the changelog here, on the first page.
Love the game mechanic where you can carry around monsters that fuck you while you fight. So awesome! Makes me want to try making a game

1. What triggers the hot spring rape scene, is it pure RNG?

She will refuse until you get to the second purple crystal, where the talking head thing will offer her a deal
This is 100% not true, not entirely anyway. There is another, stat based one that lets you equip it, even as soon as you obtain it with the right stats. Not sure what exactly though.
