If you run this on Linux, try the environment variables "force_compat_profile=true force_glsl_version=130". That fixed the graphical issues for me.I tried installing those the last time I played the game but the graphical issues persisted. I'll test if they go away after messing with winetricks again in a bit.
hope it is not too late, never use "far" setting but use normal all the time, you see more area with "far" but it will CTD at some place like thisThe game keeps crashing everytime I reach this part
can anyone answerwhen i try to save the game i cant does anyone knows how to fix that
Depends on the laptop. Most laptops should be mostly identical in function to a PC though.I've tried various way to fix the 0xc000007b error from this thread and youtube tutorial yet nothing helped while my friend on the other hand tried to install it and everything went normal, is it because he's using PC while i'm using Laptop?
First things, which version was the save first created with? When I try to walk into the first null magic room (no magic room? the rooms that disable your magic...) the game crashes. I've tried this on both the steam version download from this thread and the compressed 1.05 version from this post: https://f95zone.to/threads/the-agni...rsed-dungeon-v1-05-b-flat.72868/post-10688919
I don't get any visible error messages for feedback. The game just closes.
Anybody else experience this? Any possible fixes?
%LOCALAPPDATA%\KADOKAWA\PGMMV\cache
folder.Save was fresh for both instances (it fortunately only takes about 10 mins to get to the crash screen).First things, which version was the save first created with?
Also, saves should be considered not compatible between the Steam version and the compressed version (as the compressed version is the full supporter release ie: has all official translations) [biggest reason is the compressed version is NOT encrypted for better performance]
You could also try clearing out the%LOCALAPPDATA%\KADOKAWA\PGMMV\cache
folder.
Most importantly, do you have any mods installed?
I don't think the BetterIcons mod could cause such a crash (all it does is change the game executable's icon resource), but here's the originalSave was fresh for both instances (it fortunately only takes about 10 mins to get to the crash screen).
I don't seem to have a `%LOCALAPPDATA%\KADOKAWA\PGMMV\cache` dir, but I do have a `%LOCALAPPDATA%\KADOKAWA\RPGMV\cache` dir. I don't think that dir is relevant but gave clearing it a try to no effect.
No mods installed unless they came with the download (not sure how I would check, but I assume they are clean). I haven't tinkered with that directory beyond dropping msvcr110.dll into the compressed version's dir. I only did this after the crashes were occurring and it didn't fix anything. I've since removed the file.
edit: looks like brt345678 download link includes bettericons maybe? Not sure.
Game.exe
file without it anyway.
Hmm, maybe I have that from using the trial version of the Pixel Game Maker MV Editor...I don't seem to have a `%LOCALAPPDATA%\KADOKAWA\PGMMV\cache` dir, but I do have a `%LOCALAPPDATA%\KADOKAWA\RPGMV\cache` dir. I don't think that dir is relevant but gave clearing it a try to no effect.
There are a couple broken commands. I'm presuming the switch variables were changed in the 1.05 release. Where would I have to look to find the new proper commands to update the cheat plugin to operate properly? Better yet, maybe one of you knows what these functions are trying to call for now? With the script the cheat is in being from an older version there is a high potential for bugs to occur (along with missing code), so here is the script from v1.05 with the cheat functions inserted.
Purely a copy/paste, so no further changes.
Should prevent any potential issues from using an older script.
Any issues should just be with the cheats code itself.
Refer to the original cheat post for instructions.
You're gonna have to track that info down yourself, all I did was copy/paste the cheat javascript code to the latest version of the file. There are a couple broken commands. No dice unfortunately (not that I expected an EXE icon change to do anything )I don't think the BetterIcons mod could cause such a crash (all it does is change the game executable's icon resource), but here's the originalGame.exe
file without it anyway. OriginalGameExe.7z
Yeah, gave that a go, didn't seem to help.Have you installed all of the Visual C++ runtime redistributables (both x86 and x64, 2005 thru to 2022)? [not all are necessary for specifically this game, but it doesn't hurt to have them all anyway]
it's been 4 years but could you possibly tell me what those files were? at this point I'm making a hybrid because of the amount of files I put in it's core and it still failed to launchStill doesn't work
Edit:Nvm found out it missing some file so I repair them and it work now
