I'm in the depths and not sure where to go next... Went left, to the Withered Ruins, and emerged in the Capra Village. Went around the Capra Village, did a bunch of things, unlocked every door/trapdoor I could find, still not sure what's supposed to happen to progress.
E: I used the black crystal to teleport to the Depths Treasure Room and found the abyssal cage there.

I would have but my debit card for international transactions is not working for some reason. Nor my paypal account
Well, maybe ask your bank why you can't use your card for international transactions? Not sure why you couldn't with paypal though, it shouldn't be a problem.

The game is reportedly in the home stretch and will be done soon. The latest releases have been largely censored because of Patreon. I'd wait for full release which will likely contain an H-content patch.
