Apologies in advance for asking this maybe obvious question, but what is a final beta? Will the prologue now be further remodelled or not?

Also, will the rest of the game also be remodelled before story continues or not?

Slim is surely still on vacation because in Discord they mentioned that in the 2nd week of January he would return and the 2nd week is over and nothing

I don't get it. Is Slim a team or one person? In one post you referred to Slim as "they" and in another as "he". I'm confused.

I just played through the prologue and enjoyed it a lot. It has a real Milfy City vibe, which is great, but with a nice supernatural twist.

I will wait for the full merged version before I move on to the full game. Hopefully, it comes out soon.
Most likely won't. I have a 1 year, 1 month and 2 weeks old version of this game main story, which is still the version available here. I might be wrong, but it's 2 numbered updates for a prologue that could have been done first or after the main story was finished. I feel like this game will regrettably end like milfy city. Unfinished.

Hey everybody, completely OOTL on this, know the game loved the game when I played it.

I was under the impression that the reworks were just to make the prologue seem less dated, but then I see things like Slim "had" to rewrite it. There a cliffnotes version of all the developments since the last big story developments (I think the last time I played was pre-prologue remakes) tried searching back but not sure where in the thread all the answers are

Damn, what a shame. I was really impressed by the short Prologue, such a shame there is no movement on it.

So the mc needs to pass a test in school and doesn't think to use the fucking invisible fairy to read the answers on a smart person's test? No, let's go through all this trouble and blackmail the teacher instead lol.

You're playing a game with porn and don't expect porn logic? Obviously the blackmail makes for sexier times in the future.

"Update", as in what exactly? Redoing the prologue for the 8th time? That seems to be all that Slim's interested in doing these days.
I can smell another ICSTOR level excuse about how he broke his knee or back while trying to merge the prologue and the main game. He might even use the word "burnt-out". I gave him the benefit of the doubt before, but after the last "update", it's painfully clear he's been trying to milk the game for more than it's worth.

Honestly, I think it's more some type of perfectionist mindset. If you're redoing and redoing, that doesn't speak so much to milking or lack of effort as it does to being overly focused on finer details at the sacrifice of the rest of the project. It's obviously possible I'm wrong, but this feels more like simple dissatisfaction with minutia at this point.

It's the primary reason I put my two big projects on a back burner and have instead been working on a shorter story that can stand alone. I want to develop my craft on small projects that I can put behind me.

Far too many creators want their very first completed project to be something groundbreaking, but the vast majority of the time it doesn't work like that. Some take years to gain enough momentum to make the transition to full-time game creation (or w/e their artistic endeavor might be). It takes serious focus and endurance to become successful in any venture, and adult gaming is no exception. Even people who are extremely successful (like NLT Media or DrPinkCake in the case of adult gaming) generally stay so because of continued focus and effort.

I'm not going to say that focus and effort are the only things needed to succeed, but they are two of the primary determinants in success based on countless studies. Even if you don't become one of the biggest in your field of art, you can still make a decent living — and persistence and commitment both will help with that.
