Umm I dont remember a haunted house at all... I remember the hospital at the begining, the nurse blows MC, mom picks his amnesiac ass up, they go home.

MC sees the little sister in the toilet, she gets mad that MC doesnt remember their promise, and starts to avoid him. Night a little fairy comes and tells the MC she saved his life thought she initially cause his crash too, and explains the MC's purple penis is due to magic and he has mind powers.

Next day MC visits the neighbor lady who is having marital problems, MC uses his powers on her and makes her blow him... He then goes home and does yoga with mom, here MC have an option to rape her (Game over) or control his impulses and move on to next day...

Final Day MC talks to sister, she agrees to go with him to park, she mentions his promise, somehow the MC remembers it, and says he will keep it.. Sister gets happy again, kisses MC, they go home, he goes to sleep. And thats the last thing before the "this is the end of this version" pops up...

So yeah, dont remember anything about a haunted house...
it seems that you just finished the version 0.2, try to download the 0.3 and play it.

My favorite animated scene is in there you definitely don't want to miss out on that one, thankfully Stagwood and ljz781212 have fully operation memories.
sad, i like the prologue mom better. :(
Absolutely nothing wrong with new mom (except for her top in her reading pose maybe), but yeah the older (yet younger) mom was a little hotter.

I'm pretty sure it ends when you're chased from the haunted house during a date at a funfair with the blonde sister character. I can't remember anything after that.
Just played it again to check. Yep thats when it ends.

And played this now. I cant really call the old game a prologue, because of some changes. Now they live in a flat instead a house (maybe bc of navigation). And again like in all games - there is no need for the navigation. Its all just linear progression. Maybe it is just me, but I dont understand all the devs that put a pointless navigation in there games. As long as there is no branching through movement (so when you go to one spot an other path is permanently blocked) and the movement is some kind of decision making, the whole point of the free movement is obsolet.

The game still has nice renders and the story is a bit confusing - but maybe this is because there is such a break in the game and the new game feels quite short. The whole magic thing is falling short in tbh - not that I complain, but when this is a huge thing it should be more present. You forget that sometimes and only that fairy reminds you of it bc you dont do anything with it.

With updates that will have some content this might become a nice game - and hopefully there wont be another split in the game with some "season/chapter 2" bs :)

I think whether the free movement is pointless or not depends on what SLim wants to build this game into. The way I see it he's essentially placing "quest givers" within the game world. Once the project is complete or even once it's just grown a little it might make more sense. NPCs may become part of quest chains. I'm imagining something along the lines of Man of the House where you have to figure out who to talk to next in order to progress. There's also the hidden item activities that lift it closer to a point and click adventure than a simple visual novel with linear progression. Maybe there'll be puzzles? Who knows? It's too early to tell in my opinion.

The renders are enough to keep me interested so far, but I'm also really curious to see how this turns out.

I "hate"* that game for that. Its just looking at the hints and what to do and grinding points. The game it self would be the same, but with a more fluid story and not that busywork. Maybe It is just me, but there is not a single game that really feels like a GOOD point and click adventure. Imho devs in this genre are just not good enough** out there . For all the work you put into that kind of games you really need great dialog and a entertaining story. A game like the Daedalic games with porn? great! - or even old Lucas Arts? Yes! - but that's a benchmark only a few games can hit.

In the end it is up to the Devs - it is his/her/their vision and when the whole movement system is well implemented and there is a hint system (if needed, because all games that need a walkthrough have broken gamedesign) it is fine for me. I just prefer stories with a good selection of decisions and branching in their storyline and no tacked on "gameplay" or mechanics that in most cases just add grind or artificially stretch playtime . :)

*I play it and it is fun bc the girls and stories are entertaining - but I dont like the whole "search and grind to continue" stuff - I bet most ppl will cheat to avoid grind in most of all the games that have any grind.

** there are some very talented teams and ppl out there and deliver great games for this genre. But it is easier to tell a good story where the player dont have to invest to much effort and can just enjoy the game. As soon as you force the player to invest into the game you have to deliver. That is the reason why there are so many failed souls-like games. Its not just hard skillbased gameplay - without the proper rewards from the game that will not work.

Each to their own, but I like variety. There are a lot of straight visual novels and kinetic novels out there, and when I want that sort of thing I play those. I like exploring though, I like clicking through different things to see if I can find different results.

I like sandbox's. I can sometimes get a crippling worry about missing or getting something wrong, sandboxes can alleviate that and if they have a in-game guide like Man of the House now has then all the better. And just messing around can be fun.

Grind is almost always over done and saps the fun out of a game the more repetitive it gets. If it is going to be a thing either cut the repetition down a bit, or add at least a little variation of some kind to scenes your made to repeat (both would be great).

Made my short list for paetron-age. I enjoyed both styles from the prologue and main game and while I can see a noticeable difference in the quality of images in the first main release for the better I confess I preferred the mom/"landlady" from the prologue as well as the fairy (I imagine they wanted to make the mom look more mature and while that did work, the original mom was just too perfect to change ;). Animations were top notch in both though. I also saw a few continuity issues between them, but nothing I imagine won't be smoothed over. Definitely a top notch effort to keep an eye on.

I need to fix what i said.
I prefer the original version because of the house and the beginning of the game.
This version is still very good and after some new update/s i may like it more.
