It's all anyone talks about, and often the fans and players are arrogant and think they're better than everyone else. For example, I used to play tennis at a sports centre that had tennis courts (clay) and football pitches. In winter, instead of warming up by running on the football pitch, the footballers preferred to find a heated indoor tennis court and run there with their studded boots on. Or, at the end of training, they would cross the tennis court to get to the changing rooms, ignoring anyone who was playing and had to stop to let them pass. And, of course, they always wore their studded boots. Rude and arrogant. But they are footballers and tennis players are secondary. Nadal had to win Roland Garros 12 times before making the front page of Italian sports newspapers. I'm not disappointed by being whored because I do like both Kiki and Hester. But I am disappointed by the inconsistency of the writing. I expect some sort of suspension of disbelief when playing porn game, but it's still jarring to see contradictory characteristics. "Don't hit on the girls" but "hit on the potential new girls to recruit them" (and to a certain degree, "it's ok if we hit on each other") is just messy that could've been solved easily by not having the "Don't hit on the girls" to begin with.

Based on your review and recent comments, you don't even seem to understand the story, or the difference between "writing" and "characters". Yes, indeed. That's actually a point where the author lost touch with the characters and the story a little. Definitely not the best scene in the game.
I don't see that as being inconsistent writing. It shows that Ivy is willing to overlook her principles in the pursuit of winning because she is the coach. It makes sense that the coach is willing to bend the rules of the club if she thinks it will give them a competitive edge.

There is a international board rule/law that the players with contract can't be reached by other clubs before that said club allow it but it is easily bent because most players have agents, so they contact the agents instead lmao.
She is still a coach and wants the best players, until they aren't their players most internal rules won't apply. Once they are they "dance" at the coach/manager/owner of the club rules. Don't overthink it, it happens in almost every professional football club.

The problem with this logic IMO is that she's the one who made the rule herself. It's not so much of her willing to break someone else's rule (and suffer the consequence) to achieve the goal because she thinks the rule restricts her to get the best outcome. This is just her breaking her own self-imposed rule that has no consequence when broken. There is no willpower needed to do that.
Also, if this were true that she's willing to bend the rules to gain advantage, then the rule should have some leeway. But instead, what we got from the game is this. Zero tolerance means strict application with no negotiation and without exception. Yet, she's the one who broke it herself and of course no consequence.
