This game is interesting enough to bother in writing some criticism, constructive, I hope.
First of all, I think it is starting to be more similar to "College Kings" than to "Being a DIK" in terms of writing, and that's not a good thing at all.
I suppose that this game intends to be kind of realistic (obviously a porn game never will be realistic), and all girls declaring their love to the MC one after another just with minutes of difference while another one has the crazy hots for him doesn´t seem to be realistic, but hurried on.
Also, the resource of starting a lewd scene and then something happens and the MC and the girl can´t finish the "job" is a really nasty trick for the player. It´s better to write a scene of mild sex (oral, or just making out) than to make the player think that something is going to happen, and then interrupt it.
But my main problem with the game is that the personalities of most of the girls seems to be pretty much interchangeable. There is Vanessa, that is a bit different. She´s dangerously close to be a bitch more that witty sometimes, but at least she has a personality and that's why I have chosen her. The different Lis should have their own personalities and traits to make them lovable and attractive, and not to differ only in the 3D model.

Yes, there is a previous history between the girls and the MC, but... Are Sophia and Rebecca standing in line in the kitchen to declare to him, just after he has (almost, sadly) fucked with Vanessa? It´s rushed. Also, I don´t feel credible that a hot girl is going to say to a boy "I want to be your girlfriend and I don´t mind if you have a fuck buddy, you can continue with her". If she´s really kinky, she could say "I want to join the fun with you both", but... A 18 or 19 years old hot girl behaving with a boy like a 55 years old divorced woman with three grown up kids, desperate not to be alone? I don´t see it. Even for a "harem" game, there are other more subtle ways to make the MC to be with several women at the same time, without making him a cheater.

And about Daveblock... yeah, shit can happen, but that kind of shit is not funny in a game. Actually, I think it´s forced that Vanessa suddenly starts behaving like a cliché character of a gonzo porn movie with the MC and wants to be fucked by him right here right now in a dirty basement. I think that some teasing, a make out session and the promise of more later would have been better for that scene.

When I applied to be 'just' the new writer, I had to write a scene like this as recruitment task. I liked it and left it inside...
The difference: The OG scene was meant to be in a shack and I did choose the basement.

And as much as realism... well... this is still a game. How much realism can we guarantee?
How much realism does the average player want? It is a very fickle thing.
I mean I could've gone back to the 1 girl at a time thing... but made the choice to make it harem.

As I said in my fist comment, a porn game can´t be truly realistic, but a bit more plausibility would be good for this game, IMO.

This did not feel like the same game at all. Girls personalities and the writing in general seems to have taken a nose dive. For me it feels like it has gone from a game with high quality writing with characters who feels like they have clear distinct personalities, to a very generic game where the girls seems very similar (and very different to how they were in the original).

Hopefully it gets better again, but have lost a lot of interest in this one now.

This project has hit the hook up stages in development.
The girls are in groups where they tend to be bullied by other guys,
some even made fun of and MC is the one guy taking the boon of the jokes so the girls do not have to.

Also, MC is trying the ”talk to your girl” approach as opposed to ”hy, me hunk, get naked for me”,
the kind of shtick some of the other males are throwing around.

In this game, MC is not the bulky athlete, is not the handsome beastly guy,
he is the somewhat slim somewhat good on the eye funny guy who manages to stick to girls and
spark a conversation, while also being around them girls long enough to matter
when they need someone to chat up or cuddle with without the farce of getting brutalized by hunks.

Now, apparently, seems Vanessa is the chosen one aka 'main'/flagship girl? That you see in similar cases in similar games (eg Jill from BaD, Jenny from AoA etc) Well, if that's the case,can't say I'm thrilled but she pulls it off, she can anchor it. Happy for Vanessa enjoyers. Thank you for Nina being there that alone made it worthwhile, points for that. Or should I say... TEN POINTS TO GRYFFINDOR! (haha Sophia)

Some comments write about downgrade, deviation, characters feeling homogenized and not themselves etc More on that later but to me, they looked and felt very alike from previously-some exceptions I'll get on. Besides, this was barely substantial material to work with (adding to that, I'm probably the most clueless individual this galaxy when it comes to coding, making a game etc but it felt too short for 1 giga...:/ I even took the rickroll option in the end )

Now, Jen didn't originally strike me as the gal who'd scream "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH HELP!" when the lights go out. She ain't Vanessa sure, but she ain't a daffodil either (the other extreme), she got spunk. Dave was spot on lol. And the rest pretty much for what little screen time they had. For the girls practically throwing themselves at MC, afraid gonna have to agree, to a degree at least. It does look that way and it does look a bit weird and off-putting. I understand the notion of "catching up" but Sophia being like that even when selecting the friendzone kinda tells you she's really smitten with MC-kinda out of the blue (or she could be seeking to use him to make another boi jealous which would be rather intriguing; tough to bear but intriguing). For Rebecca (she's so precious ) felt closer to her character but still hard to digest- I mean, for instance, it's hard to imagine a girl like her wouldn't have lots of admirers and guys hitting on her in general. MC just became a part of the (inner) group and feels like he's her prince charming or something. If one considers their group was (mostly?) secluded until now it does make more sense tho. Still, it didn't feel like you did things to "earn" Rebecca, you know? I mean, in the previous version, I picked her everywhere that was possible-thought was going to get a first development when you took her in that super secret cafebar-restaurant thing that was in one of the options (alas, scene was interrupted- may I ask if that's still a thing pretty please?) That said, everyone, including yours truly, has an ideal way in his mind of how the game should be and should realize, it's not even one in a bazillion he'll get it. You can't make everyone happy.

I'm a guy who appreciates good humor (and not overdoing it like MCU recently) and the "Look at all of you being strong and independent" and the rickrolls got me guuuuuuuud Points for that. However, literally everyone's here except Nina (she and Becca are best girls, fite me). Points taken for that. A LOT of points

As for the rendering quality, I didn't find it flustering, preventing, sub-par or immersion-ruining. I'm not the strain at a gnat kind. I mean, sleek, smooth and top quality visuals are always a plus but hey, you're not here to play next triple-A title fresh out of the oven in ultra 4k HD at 60 fps, are ya?

Again, BIG thanks for not letting this game die, best of luck moving forward, can't w8.

P.S. Some small things I noticed. When going down in basement alone, get a cutout and a red message "scene (number) couldn't load error" up left that flies too fast to read-but not something gamebreaking apparently. Also, in Vanessa scene at some points, text uses MC default name Ben even if not used.

Recap can offer a lot of great opportunities for humor(which was greatly utilized here) as well as high tension, drama, "oh SHIET!" moments, it can be something truly amazing. I understand tho if it's too much work and/or problematic to make.


Yeah, the spot is special to the group (maybe even more so to Rebecca) and she sure appreciated you being there for/with her. Can't help to think it's very improbable that MC was the only one who ever did this (and thus being so 'special' to her) tho. As for the 'pick a dress' sure, seemed like flirting. But we all know, girls are VERY competitive and antagonistic beings, especially with one another. So one could see it simply as that (or both).
