Isn't every female in a game a possible 'love interest'? Sorry but NTR is when the person or persons 'actively involved' with the MC cheats. To label everything NTR defeats the purpose of having an NTR tag.
Can you imagine all the TV shows and movies that would be banned if you only allowed the main character to be in a relationship?
If we censure everything because it might offend someone, there wouldn't be many games left to play. If characters in a porn game having sex bothers you that much, then maybe you shouldn't play.
Or maybe we need a 'snowflake' tag.

i actually like to roleplay as the mc and i don't know about you but ive never seen or tried to see my friends having sex, maybe thats just me. So i don't want to see a sex scene where the MC is not involved.

also by f95 rules the relationship status does not matter for the ntr tag despite what some might say. if shes a LI and shes fucking someone else thats ntr. i don't care what you think ntr is

But you totally misunderstood me in the first place. What I was saying is that since there is no NTR tag, then it's pretty unlikely one of the banner girls (being the LIs) will fuck some rando college dude as was stated in the post I was referencing. Whether I like NTR or not is irrelevant (I honestly have a way milder opinion of it than most, either positive or negative.) If the tag isn't there, it shouldn't be in the game. Showing other people having sex in a game should warrant a voyeurism tag but not an NTR tag - unless one of those other people is cheating on the MC.

The term is used very loosely around here but by actively involved I assume you mean in a relationship and that simply isn't true either. Thousands of netorare games and comics going back decades tell you this isn't the case -- friends, family, love interests but nothing more are examples of characters that can be "stolen".

The problem comes in when you have multiple playthroughs / saves for different LI's which most people do. So if you see it, it spoils the other playthroughs. No definition required.

If that one you pick is one that has sex with someone else, then yes of course. If they're all potential LIs depending on your choices, than any of them having sex with someone else is going to be NTR, by the way it's defined here on this site. You can disagree, but until you get the site admins to change the definition as it applies here, that is what it is. And going back to my original point, since there is no NTR tag (or as the first poster pointed out, no voyeur tag) then it's pretty unlikely such a thing will occur. If it does, this thread will burn. It's pretty well proven that you can't add that kind of content in midway through a game's development without mentioning it previously without this site going apeshit. Hell, there's been so much backlash from the dev's use of these characters in his tech demo that he's had to specify in this one's OP that the tech demo is a non-canon, alternate reality to this game where the MC doesn't exist, just to get the anti-NTR crowd to pipe down. So I really don't think he's going to spring surprise NTR on us in this game midway through. I'll stand up and admit I was wrong if it happens, I guess. But I stand by my assessment. No NTR tag means none of the banner girl LIs will fuck another guy.

UndergroundStudio, you have a very interesting thing going on here. I've been following your posts about what you're intending to do with this game, and it seems will be a fun ride. Great models, very good renders, nice down to earth dialogs, believable reactions.

I like how the story progresses, and how the relationship with MC's friends and a potential lover flows. The dialogues with Sophia so damn relatable that it hurts

Also, in regards to the NTR discussion, why not at least see the characters pairing up depending on the choices you make? - I feel like it is totally avoidable to have scenes of friends fucking in-game (just as disgusting in real life), but for the sake of the plot, this sort of middle ground could work just fine.

Props to the dev on balancing the amount of male and female characters too!

Considering the girls are potential love interests on this playthrough or another I would not want to hear about or watch them having sex with someone else can the girl you don't pick have a boyfriend sure but that doesn't mean I want to hear about or see her having sex is it ntr? That's a tough question simply because they are potential LI's and will be on other playthroughs so I don't know I'm not sure it's ntr but it's uncomfortable when going for that girl later that's just my opinion there is really no right or wrong here just how people feel about it if dev wants them to be with someone else fine but I wouldn't talk about or show any sexually related content for it so that going into a new playthrough those images aren't there to cause any problems just my opinion

1) Maybe not you, but there are posts who said this (my post wsn't personal).
2) Even after you chose one?
3) Nobody said (even the devs) we will see it. But some people don't even want it to happen off screen. It's posted here and everywhere.
4) If you want different paths, you will have different LI's. Same as #2, I guess.

Look, this convo is OT, and maybe will be cleansed later. There are several posts from the devs and writer since the beginning where it's explained what are they doing with the game and story, relationships and everything. If what they're doing is not your cup of tea, it's fine. But it is their story.

I support only a couple of games/devs (can't spend too much), because I like what they're doing. Not a fan of NTR, sharing, and other things. If some things appear later in the game that I don't like, well, I will quietly look other projects to support.

'Actively involved' doesn't have to be sexually involved. Assuming no incest tag, I would say that the MC seeing his mom cheating on his dad would warrant a NTR tag because she's cheating on their family. The MC catching his divorced mom going at with her boyfriend would not be.
My point here is if you make the NTR tag too general, it loses it's meaning.
