nice but way too short update, story advanced bit to somewhere and had some funny moments (like mc and zoey going to movies like they were dating humans). also there seems to be bug on andy talking since it blinks from full pic to showing eyes only.

Good update... but....

I wish the MC would use his powers.... he's a freaking vampire after all. But he needs to use a dumpster to get up to the second level of an apartment?. LOL. Come on. This game might as well forget about the vampire narrative and just be another college school girl AVN. :ROFLMAO:

- how old is our MC as a vampire? he's very young.
- does he really know his powers? no one does, in fact.
- how much is he accostumed to them? very little.
- how much is he accostumed to the idea of being a vampire? he isn't, in fact.

I think our MC and her lovely biker friend use their powers as little as possible because they want to "stay as humans" as much as possible. They'd become again humans right now if they could.

Let's be honest: he will be fledgling through most of the plot, so no, that is not a good argument here. People don't start vampire games to play as average Joe with a dental problem. He is supposed to be some sort of the supervamp anyway, so his growth should, for fun sake, be totally different than this of other vampires.

Also, that whole scene in the apartment is absurd TBH. Yes, let's 'save' the girl by introducing her to the world of vampires. Sounds like an amazing idea.

Well, I am only interested in Zoey So I don't know what scene in the apartment you're talking about

but I love that we are not all-powerful. Vampire right at the beginning because that would

make it a really boring game I love. Our powers grow and develop as we grow and develop into the

vampire, we want to be So when we do become an all-powerful Dracula-level vampire at the end it feels earn

Is it so?

This is only the seventh update, you know: the story has just started. Just think about an infamous F95 vampire game - I bet anyone following this thread is playing it, too - and "where" its MC was after 7 updates.

if you're talkin about rebirth I actually stopped playing that game because I couldn't take it anymore

in my opinion, this game is 100 times better than rebirth

It is so. Unless someone has a submission fetish. I don't judge. ;)

Most of vampire themed games start with becoming a vampire, yet they usually keep a steady pace of increasing ones power to keep things interesting.

I suggest Shadows of New York as a decent reference :)

both have goods and bads.
True, tho in case of Rebirth it's usually: goods in early game, bads in late game.

Exactly my point. Rebirth MC has basically zero growth over time, so the game became less and less interesting to a point I don't even follow it anymore.

so far I've really enjoyed this game and I haven't found a problem with it

and I was one of the first people to play rebirth and I really wanted to like it

but in my opinion, rebirth keeps getting worse and worse and I couldn't take it anymore especially after they gave

a young woman brain damage and acted like it was no big deal like it's just the way it is

but we're not talking about that game we talking about The Bite: Revenant I love it it's a great game with a great story

and every time an update comes out for The Bite: Revenant I'm so excited I can't wait for more

We don't know about that yet. The game starts around year 2000 so maybe there's gonna be a time jump at some point.

Time jumps can be interesting in vampire stories, vampires don't age like humans after all.
Like year 2.100, the MC and his waifu enjoy Vienna's night and cuisine :)
but my brother the nineties was so much better you can actually buy flowers for a girl without people calling you a simp

and people are not on their phones all the goddamn time

Meh, all i'm saying is it would've been far cooler and even fit the story narrative if he scaled that apartment with a vampiric power. I mean the first time he discovered a power he was a saving Zoey. And the second time he needs to save a chick it would've made sense to discover some vampiric ability to scale the building to the 2nd second floor. :cautious:

Just seems like a wasted opportunity. Anyway... I've accepted it's not a vampire game but just a porn game :ROFLMAO:
