Also from a story standpoint it becomes to predictable if everyone uses it as the reason or can see it coming beyond just the dislike. Sometimes that is not bad though if the genre is about that as with horror movies for example that rarely have originality either and originality is not always expected or appreciated by the fans of the genre.

The other thing is also a point to consider when as a dev you want to make a more romantic games where women should be Li's for MC, yeah a big part of that player base do not like to see sex scenes with those girls with others as MC. It can be done and there are examples of games where devs got away with it when chose non abusive assholes at least or only revealed them later as assholes, but you better be very careful about it and redeem the lady as a LI or make sure you do not taint her for those players if choose to show it and some players well they are very extreme about it.

For me the stronger the story is itself beyond just MC getting together with the Li's, the more I do not mind other scenes that much if they are done well and not another easy blackmail and the woman forgets she has a functioning brain immediately.

One problem (for me) is the massive build up the Dev gave setting up this reveal at the beginning. How many times was it referenced? The fact that he took out the mom slapping her son in a drunken rage is proof that things aren't going as planned.

My fear (if you want to call it that) is that anything less than a major event will not justify the mom's bad behavior to date. Making the event sexual (rape?) might be 'predictable', but it would both 1) justify her turning to booze and treating others like shit and 2) justify why she couldn't tell her kids. 'I can't tell my kids I lost the Freeman account' ain't gonna cut it.

But as I acknowledged before, any explanation where the mom is shown to have had sex with someone not the MC (rape or otherwise) will rain havoc onto the comment section. I hope too much doesn't get changed just to appease a small group here.

With that said, I hope the Dev can pull it off because I'm here for the hook up between the milf and the MC.

Just started this game, and think it is pretty good so far. Just curious, are these the only people? The "landlady", "housemate", and "landladies friend"? Or will there be, like, daughter(s) of the "landladies friend", neighbors, town girls, or anyone like that as well?

There are plans for more characters, gonna have a few new females introduced in the coming release and have plans for a landladys friends daughter.

The only reason the slap ( and the groping on the sofa ) was removed is because it didn't fit with my original plan, the groping was added last minute to try and add some sexy time which didn't pan out the way I wanted it to the slap was removed pretty much for the same reason, it wasn't in my original script and I added it last minute just to add a little spice.

Keep in mind, I wrote the script/came up with the story over 2 years ago so as I go through it now I'm bound to find things I don't like and that's why I changed it from being rape, not just because a few people didn't like the idea but now 2 years on from my orginal idea I don't like it myself. With the tone I'm going for it would have felt yucky I guess. The new reason ( at least I think ) is much better and I think it adds a little sadness to the backstory.

I agree with you all the way, exept your last sentence !!!!! I play these games and I want to see, what kind of STORY Dev has made !!!! If the STORY needs cucked, rape or any other fetish things, it`s OK with me, as I said, it MUST fit the STORY !!!!! In my mind, Devs do what THEY want and if someone don`t like it, so be it, stop playing !!!!!
But never the less, thats only how I feel of these games and btw animated porn is a nice addon !!!!

I agree. If it fits the story, then a little NTR or whatever is warranted. I get that Cell changed his mind on how he wants to convey why the lady drinks. But if he kept it at rape, fine. It fits. Rape would be a very good reason to hide in the bottle. Now, with that said, Cell, dude, just one small gripe. The MC and the girl haven't even left for town yet, and I've seen about 5 times it has referred to the characters by their default names instead of the names I gave them. Mostly the friend. But it also did it on the girl and the lady. Just want to point that out. I get if you don't have a crew or whatever. And it is just a small thing. Loving the story so far. Keep up the great work.

I'm pretty sure there won't be NTR. Even when the Landlady character was going to tell them about the rape. I don't believe it was actually going to be shown. At least I think that's what Cell said.

Yeah. Some people just can't handle the fact people have a past and that, even in a fictitious world, people could have gotten it on, or are getting it on, with someone other than the MC. Personally, I like to see fleshed out characters who have a past. It adds some believability to to the game.

Now. My prediction is, since the lady already said it happened at her husbands business party, that she saw him cheating on her with his secretary or something.

None needed. You can either name the characters or use the defaults. And you can name the relationships or leave them as default. So you can make them family if you want.
