VN Ren'Py Completed The Case Files of Doctor Morecock Bones [v1.0] [Horny Hydra Games]

Had a interesting and fun time playing this VN for the first time.

Since I discovered the "points screen"(maybe make the player aware of it in the beginning as the game describes the pointsystem) only halfway through my first playthrough I did another run after that, to see the difference depending on the scores I got. I was pretty suprised how different the outcome was.

I would like the option to change the name of the MC, if you don't want to get rid off it completely (since there are some lines in the dialogs about this weird name) maybe use the current name as a nickname Mona uses for the MC like he calls her Moans from time to time.

The moment the game tells you you unlocked "tasks" it sounds way more than it really was. It is about chosing tasks for the client and these tasks need to reach certain conditions (I assume points in different categories), but in the end there was nothing to do. Later in the dialogs there is talk about tasks, but nothing you can chose from. Don't know if this is a bug or there were other, more detailed plans about this gamefeature, which got cut in the end. Maybe there will be more in future updates, would like to see here more.

The last small thing I want to mention is a talk in the game between MC and Mona, were MC tells Mona to wear something more revealing and sexy for the next session with Sarah, but she didn't change her appearence for the next session. Small detail, but maybe there are wrong renders used for this scene or it was just forgotten.

Good luck with further development of this VN. Will keep an eye on it!

alright i just checked this VN out and i got to say i did enjoy it and the only thing i have a an issue with (cuz this is just how i am) is having Mona my/MC's amazing sub being touched by another guy i mean i cant be upset about Sarah she already had her heart set on someone else so there was very little hope she be mine as well (yes i am greedy and i dont like to share) Cant wait to see what the next case is

You don't need to share, it's optional.

Don't go for corruption, Mona won't sleep with anyone else. The patients you can't stop, they are there for help with their sex lives no looking for love with the guy they are asking help from.

Sure you can fuck them if you go corruption but that also opens up Mona to others.

I would agree here except, nothing in the game indicates that the clients corruption would effect Mona, and it shouldn't. If Mona had a stat or something else indicated that the player was heading that way, okay that's when you can say, "you made a choice." However their actually was no choice, as the player had no knowledge that anything they were doing was effecting anyone other than the patient. And I also don't agree that the player should miss out on a part of the game over something so small as a choice box and a slightly different response. Unless the Dev is planning on having the MC share Mona in the future, in which case the game needs to be Tagged as such, so those who don't like that can go to a different game.

Exactly what I was thinking. It makes no sense for Sarah's corruption to be connected with Mona's willingness to "rock some stranger's world". Judging by how thrilled she is when Sarah proposes the threesome, the only reason she doesn't fuck someone else if you don't go for corruption, is because nobody asked her. Another thing that doesn't add up, is how they go from the Master-slave relationship to the MC saying that it's not up to him to decide if she'll fuck the other guy. The dude decides when and if she is allowed to cum, but at the same time she can fuck around at her own volition?

Choices should matter or they have no purpose.

If choices aren't going to affect anything and you get to see everything regardless then remove the choices and make it kinetic. Nothing worse than illusion of choice, it defeats the purpose of having choices.

Most games from VN's to AAA RPG's with any sort of choice has content behind those choices.

I had both trust and comfort at close to 50 and got a really good ending. Corruption was on 8. Granted I had topick a couple of choices that only gave 2 or 1 trust but I didn't mind.

I agree, choices should matter, but in this instance the player isn't even aware they are making the choice, hence why so many got annoyed by the Mona threesome, they never saw a choice. There is nothing to indicate that by playing the game well and making the best decisions, they are heading for a possible situation where they might share Mona with another guy. Sharing her with the patient is obvious, with another guy isn't.

I played the game to the best of my ability and got an ending I didn't want or even know was coming. I beat the game with full corruption, simply by observing the reactions the dev made the patient make. I never once looked at any points, so to me there was no choice. I felt penalized for playing the game well.

I'm not saying, don't have the threesome discussion in the game, I'm just asking for the opportunity to make the choice, of the answer.

From my plays i've seen 2 endings. One where she turns into a complete slut and one where she leaves happy after having got her daughter back in her life.

I took the first one as a bad end. I wouldn't have played the corruption route but I was testing the 3some thing. That just seems like the bad route to me but to each their own.

In my end she wasn't a complete slut. She had sex with the MC, just the one time, after that it was all about her BF. And she still got back together with her daughter in my ending too. There was no further talk of her and the MC having sex, or her with anyone else other than her BF.

A complete slut ending would have made her the MC bitch, or her sleeping around. Instead she got her self esteem back, the man she wanted and and back with her daughter.

Sounds like a good ending to me.

Yeah, she is kinda boring. Would be nice if there was a path where you could keep the patient for yourself like in wife trainer. That would give Mona more value as the example of what you could turn your patient into.
