Hmmm, well thank you for opening up a certain aspect of your life Avaron. Jealously doesn't always mean possessiveness and the wider spectrum can be complicated to explain. I'm a male and I am someone who is alpha in nature and I find loyalty to be of utmost importance, now going by my characteristics, I should lead the anti NTR bandwagon, since these a opposite traits to my character, but I also belong to a group that is not averse of doing anything different and respecting the loyalty of others towards their own fantasies and what not, in other words, I am not averse to broaden my horizons, virtually and in real life, albeit to a certain degree.Except the jealousy thing isn't for everyone.
I've never been a jealous girl, never will be, it's a shitty pointless emotion that has no place in relationships. If a couple are together then that's by choice, cheating is also by choicse and getting jealous over it doesn't help anyone, it just turns people into angry little shits.
As far as games go, it's fine if you want it to be optional but you start forcing unwanted crap on players and they don't stick around.
Here it only helps you, several people stated they didn't want anything like that so dev would gain 1 player and lose several others.
Personally I wouldn't want to play a jealous character. As I said I think it's a waste of time getting jealous so i'd hate the character.
What I personally don't like though, is someone wanting to influence a creator to give their fetish priority over the ones planned by the developer, many indulge the same while others brush it off, those who indulge are rewarded with rave reviews while others are ridiculed and trolled like no other. This is what I am averse to because it hinders the story that someone wishes to convey through his/her game.
I have had pits in my stomach playing/reading/watching things that went against my principles but I didn't demand to change the narrative, nor did I ever say "ugh this fetish not to my liking is shit, put it away to get more customers", who are you? do you own him/her?
Gaining or losing players is one thing, I have seen many hard core fetish games prosper because they had a sense of belonging to the game, something people can immerse themselves with and taken them to an alternate ride, they were ridiculed too, but they got what they wanted, an audience that appreciated their work.
NO developer would want his hard work to go down the drain, but if he/she gives in to someone else's demand and does something that is not to his/her passion, do you think that it would come out right? I am not talking about the money minting projects though, that is clear cut.
The main motive behind my thought is that one should not cull the creativity of someone by imposing their own thoughts over that of the developer. I have seen many buckle because of it and it derailed their train of thoughts in a spectacular way.
In my original post, you would see me being sarcastic about someone wanting to wish there be changes made to suit his/her own taste, I say enjoy the dish as is to get the maximum out of it.
