Really sad to see it got abandoned, this game truly have potential with a very fun story and I really like the sister model. Maybe he lost motivate after it didn't received the first good impression and not attract enough supporters? No matter it such a shame really, RIP and there goes another great game die too early

Abandoned it's a strong word(but this website has its rules) for now i prefer that the dev isn't sharing news(maybe busy with life, or he got covid and can't do much) i would count it as abandoned like if he isn't sharing news for 6 months(at least in this era filled with covid and problems of any kind related to covid)
Hopefully it was the case, this game is really good so I wish Dev will make us surprise with the new update and if he still active on this thread I really wish him the best and don't give up

Hello everyone. So during the production of this game I got to know the dev and have helped him with some of the writing for chapter 1 and helped some changes of the characters and things of that nature. Anyways I had been in contact with the dev and back in December I asked him if he was abandoning the games (yes there is a second game in the this series but with different characters and story which I am writing.) and he said no. Well I have messaged the dev multiple times and have not heard anything from him since then. So two days ago I told him that he needs to message me very soon or else I will be taking over the two games. I have all the info for the story for the two games and can easily write them. But my only issue is making the game itself I do not have the equipment to make the games. So what I can do is continue the story in writing only or take the time to find someone to continue the games the choice is up to you all.
I'm pretty sure you can't do that man. This is not your game to continue. I think you will need to start a new one from the scratch.
You can't just take the game over because you are not officially part of the team, I think for you to take over the game the original Dev needs to message the mods and tell them you are the new Dev.
As the rewrite didn't change enough I'm don't really care if the game continues or not but as you said you helped with the writing of the game which means you are part of the Dev team and that means you are not allowed to write a review for it.

This blows, it's like every game with character models I like gets abandoned. If this happens to Twisted World I'm going to be inconsolable.

In story telling there is one thing called "Internal consistency", what this means is that it doesn't matter how absurd or over the top your history is, if it is consistent with the rules and logic you established for that world, then the story is written "Correctly"
But if you write something that contradicts that internal logic, then you will inevitably create plot holes that will become more obvious the more the story progresses
The problem with this game is that it wasn't internally consistent, rules were established that were then contradicted by the way the characters acted, like it was mentioned before, after passing the initiation, you can go anywhere they allow you too, that means they could go to the aunt's house, the teachers house, or even the school, to fuck with whowever they wanted, making that justification for druging the MC(and aparetly everyone else) sound quite hollow, creating a plot hole that was the source of a lot of the complains

Don't take this one so seriously. In all the conversations I had with the dev, while he was trying to rewrite this game, I got the impression that he had one (or both) of two problems:
1. He wasn't here to tell a story
2. He actually wanted a femdom game, but didn't want to admit it
His readyness to totally rewrite the story (multiple times) to accomodate the anti-femdom comments, more or less proved that he didn't have a fixed vision for his creation. Or he simply wanted to get better reviews/more patrons.
But he also didn't understand everyones problems with the story, despite the many different angles people used to try and explain it, because (and I'm paraphrasing here) "if the MC gets his dick wet in the end, everything should be fine, right!? If they sleep with him, that should make up for what happened before!".
He didn't think about the whole psychology behind this... why people play Visual Novels instead of just watching porn. The minigames, almost everyone complained about being frustrating and immersion-breaking, were in there, because he wanted the player to do SOMETHING to get rewarded for... like it was with these old Flash-Majong games, that showed you images of less and less dressed babes the more games you won.
So, by now, I firmly believe he simply gave up on the idea. Either, this was never meant to be an actual Visual Novel, or he was too eager to TRY and please the masses. You shouldn't be too sad about it being abandoned. Maybe, someday, the dev will try again with a new project. But I kinda got the feeling this experience was too negative for him. And if he does, he should stay away from the comment-section.

Reminds me of a game where the mom was a drunken bitch and we were promised a big, big reveal as to why. After several updates, we get the reveal. It's really lame, imo. And the MC simply forgives her and they move on. While some of us thought it lame, especially given the huge buildup, some thought that was perfectly ok. My point here is, for some, it doesn't matter as long as the MC gets laid in the end.
