I haven't taken a good look at the gun so I can't say for sure, but, 7 shooters are pretty damn rare. The vast, vast majority of revolvers are 6 shooters.
Unless it's a Hollywood revolver, then it holds anything between 6 to 26 bullets ;)

Even worse
Physics man. There are physical limitations to how many chambers a revolver can have and the optimal is 6 chambers for rate of fire and efficiency. I don't know if you can even have more than 7 chambers honestly(I know there's a limitation but I'm honestly unaware of what the limit is) but I have shot a 7 shooter 1 time and the only way I can describe it is it feels clunky. I do feel I should point out that revolvers don't jam though. I do prefer the higher capacity and faster reload time of clip based guns, but they do jam.

Unless it's a Hollywood revolver, then it holds anything between 6 to 26 bullets ;)
To be fair not always. I always notice and appreciate the movies/shows that have a genuine capacity for the gun they are firing(or at least a believable one, I don't know the capacity of every gun by a long shot, but even if a particular model could only carry 8, 15's still believable unless you're a super gun nut who knows the capacity of almost every gun out there).

i dont understand something ,i the game with mod say morality +1 or moarality -1 but problem is ,is annoting to dont know wich is worst, bcs the decisions are the wrong choices,if u chosee morality choice +1 is the wrong ethic choice....iam tripping...?
It’s meant to be „dispassion“ so you got it the „right“ way around. The wording is confusing
Here is a screenshot of what you're referring to in the game.

Snap_2022-04-25_at_09.57.57.png

Also, one of my old posts below should help you how to define dispassion:

From what I remember Hopes saying before about it, the term actually used for it within the game is "Dispassion"
Basically increase in morality (which the term is referred to as in game's code) leads to increase in dispassion, and decrease in morality leads to decrease in dispassion.

Of course, the term "morality" here is quite different from how a normal person (outside the mafia life) would see morality.

Basically morality stat here means the mind and principles which are generally accepted according to mafia's code of conduct (so increase in this stat will have the MC show less mercy, more willing to undertake actions that a normal person wouldn't do. Whereas, decrease in this stat would likely have MC be more forgiving, be less inclined to undertake criminal activities than one with more morality mindset).

So far, there is no effect of choosing either way (Dispassionate/+Morality or not) yet.
Not sure what plans Hopes has for it tbh.
Tbh though, as I said in the last line of quoted post as of now there is no consequence (yet) as of high in dispassion/high in morality stat or low in dispassion/low in morality stat.
So just choose whatever option you wish to choose.

i know this seem far-fetched, but do you think the MC is pretty much an unreliable narrator? i mean we know his childhood but we don't know anything about his life before his contract. and with his kind of skills maybe he is like John Wick or Agent 47 from the Hitman game. a professional hitman but pretends to have a normal life or a normal guy. sure he have the talent but there is a hint that he have some kind of training.

i just finished reading all the codex, but i haven't play deluca for a long time now

JJJ84 can i ask your theory? i may be conflating things here from reading all the codex and jumbled memory of playing deluca back then

is the third serpent that reportedly died in the fire dante? is dante the one that went to Silverino house?
Or is MC's dad a Tradimano?

Are we already in the know of what the conflict between Lumina and Cordia is about?

Also I guess one last thing, do you think Mysterious Six has something to do with Scialdone?

Nope.
It has been said by the dev, HopesGaming that MC at this stage is a weakling, who will in time, get stronger, and rise in ranks.

Also, the fact is, Wilfred and Gildart had been keeping a close eye on the MC throughout his childhood.
Hence while Wilfred's analysis of MC having High potential is correct, that doesn't mean he's had training.
In fact, he's only survived till now because of his sheer luck and his skills in making others seem to underestimate him.
But soon (if he hasn't already, given season 1 finale cliffhanger ending), he will realize that isn't enough and strive to get stronger, more powerful.

So sorry.
No MC hiding his real killer skills for this game.

Though, Hopes did say that John Wick films (with the Criminal Underworld setting) would probably the modern entertainment media that fits very well to DeLuca's style.

That's a good one to take inspiration from.

Now, I would like to draw attention to another aspect of the game, a "side theater of war" that is no less explosive.

The relationships!

First, we have Luna: a severely traumatized girl who hides behind a wall she built herself. On the outside she appears to be a cool, casual and self-confident fighter, but on the inside she looks completely different. In my opinion, the MC is doing exactly the right thing. Gently and slowly, he gives her what she secretly longs for: warmth, security and tenderness. He shows a lot of empathy and understanding for her nature and, above all, her past. He reminds her that behind the facade there is still a very desirable girl.

Second, here we have Gracie: a “theorist.” Isolated from the outside world, she lacks any kind of interpersonal and social interaction. She gets most of her knowledge from books and the internet. With the MC she now gets to know her own body better and discovers her own sexuality. What is frightening is the way in which this happens.

Thirdly, we have Isabel: the classic story of a severely neglected, unsatisfied and starving wife who knows exactly what and how she wants. You can feel it in every action they take and it's the MC's (unlucky or lucky?) that he shows up at the family's house at just that moment.

What all three relationships have in common is that they are in what I would call the Friendship Plus phase. Garcie and Isabel's jealousies put a smile on my face at times. Furthermore, I assume that Luna and Garcie were secretly talking about the MC. Garcie doesn't have a problem with it yet, recognizing the disservice he's doing to her sister. Nothing has happened yet, but woe betide the love factor comes into play. Either way, the MC is sitting on a powder keg and has the lit match in his hand!

The fourth and last member of the group is Cordia: Here the MC is actually given two tasks by Wilfred.

a) Cordia in the role of mother: The MC has already proven that he can solve interpersonal problems, aka Garcie and Isabel. But the problem of Cordia and Luna is a completely different matter. There is no question that he will solve it. The crucial question will be HOW!

b) Cordia in the function as a woman: ??? no idea what the dev has in mind here.

Conclusion: There is a lot to do. Let's wait and see!

thanks for the information

it's make a good plot twist though, if we, the players, are misguided by the game and also by hopesgaming about the mc. i kind of hoping hopesgaming can give us a little more information about the mc past life, the life he had, right before he was escorted by wilfred.

That's a good one to take inspiration from.
The actual media which inspired Hopes to create DeLuca was this Turkish Crime series that he happened to watch on TV.
I think he also said so for one of his FAQ for his Patreon iirc.

It's just that subject of John Wick films came up when he and I were discussing the game (this was actually months ago, back in 2023, heh). I had recently watched John Wick 4 (love the entire franchise, but this 4th one was really special to me), and mentioned to Hopes "You know, in a way, the world of JW kinda reminds me of DeLuca world."

This was his reply:

So yeah.
I'm not surprised there are others who mention John Wick on this thread too. :KEK:

Well, Hopes already has a set arc in regarding how MC will develop/grow as a character.
Don't get me wrong, I love John Wick (as in my reply to Jimayo above), but Wick from the first film is already a fully formed character.
MC of this game is the complete opposite of that.

As for MC's past life before the Contract, well we are given breadcrumbs throughout season 1;

- When he got into school, he met Jalen Kaskar, and the two of them formed a friendship, and he ended up living with the Kaskar Family for a while, enough to the close with the Family (Pops, Aunt Layla, Charvi and probably also Jalen's uncle as well).
It is implied he eventually moved out to live on his own, before the DeLucas came to him with the forced contract.

- There is a bit of a gap between the poison gas flashback with his mom and his meet with Jalen at school, which I'm guessing will be explored further in season 2; especially when it's time for our MC to have his reunion with his mother Rina.

MC's father is the one who is advisor to the Silverino Don.
He also married the eldest Silverino daughter Serafina and have a son called Nero (who is, yes. MC's half-brother).

Dante I'm guessing will most likely be the original third Serpent, as well as the current "Serpent." (sniper, the High Five guy)
Elektra, in the second meet with MC in the Frog Queen event, mentions Dante was originally engaged to Rina until she betrayed the DeLucas.

Lumina, from what I can tell is not mentioned in the visual novel part (i.e. rendered sections) of the game.
However, if I'm recalling correctly, there is her grave in the cemetery with tombstone in Lucania freeroam which states her name and her..... obituary?

Codex is where it was explained in depth about Lumina's character though. So at this moment, the player who read the Codex I'm guessing knows more about MC himself.
All MC would know would be that Cordia had a sister, but not what really went down between them.

As for Mysterious Six and Scialdone, uh who knows.
That's for Hopes to decide. I'm guessing any info about Mysterious Six, he's gonna keep those cards pretty close to his chest until ready cause they would be huge spoilers.

Not much, but I hope that answers some of your questions.

If I remember correctly there is one mention : Cordia fear that Gracie is a new Lumina
That is indeed correct.
She is mentioned in Recording 8 for Cordia's office.
Guess I'm a little bit rusty given it's been a while since I last went through the events and recordings.

Am I correct in assuming that I only have access to this codex in "Full Experience" mode?

Because in the “Story only & free movement” mode I can’t find it. Or am I just blind?

Full Experience mode, there is definitely Codex, Just Story from what I understand should also have the Codex avaiable cause you still get access to the laptop in MC's room.
Only mode which doesn't have it is the VN mode.
