Progress of other AVNs have also greatly slowed compared to one or two years before, let alone DeLuca refreshers.
But I do plan to do some refresher sometime soon-ish hopefully.
I mean that explains why you couldn't find it.
Codex is only on the Steam release.

Thank you. I am glad to find out I am not the only one who thinks this. I am 99.9% he will turn out to be the mc's dad.
I waited until season skipping .9. Since I knew it wasn't going to have any new story content(lore is background information, not story content to me) I decided to wait and let them get a, hopefully, bug free final version and I'm glad I did. With how much story there is in the lucania free roam, I like the change to vn form.

Why is it that strange? I've seen a lot of mafia movies and I can't think of one where the mafiosos didn't carry a gun at all times.

Yeah, not to mention the mansion even got raided by Mysterious Six once, with Luna and Lucan taken several years ago.
With all that's happened it would be surprising if the mansion didn't have at least one weapon stashed somewhere for every single room of the house so the household can always be on alert and prepared if shit hits the fan again.

You have to understand the chronology of my being surprised. In the second run, I just focused on the relationships (see my post above) and completely ignored the story and the surrounding stuff (with excessive use of the TAB key). I even blocked out where the MC was. With the cliffhanger, the concentration weakened and from this situation, the realization that there were weapons in the room was all the more drastic. Then I tried to analyze where the two of them had the weapons with them, because I couldn't recognize a host. So the logical explanation I came to was that they were attached under the table.

While i agree on the matter of the Serpent probably being Dante, i strongly suspect Rina not only betrayed the DeLucas but was cheating on him with Cordia's fiance (the one whose face has been burned off from Cordia's photograph), so no, Serpent is not the MC's dad at all. Complicated relationships all the way.
How does one Free Roam in Lucania anyway? Have had none of that so far, to the point of suspecting i picked the wrong mode by distraction.
Well I didn't actually play it since I skipped that version but people talked about it on here and it was like the contracts. Explore the town and hit each location to get the story scenes. But it was bugged and while it worked fine for plenty of users and a lot of users reported that their all of their saves, no matter how far along they got in the game, would revert back to the beginning of the lucania free roam whenever they loaded them.How does one Free Roam in Lucania anyway? In the "Story only & free movement" mode you get the scenes played one after the other, but not the special photos! You can only get this in the “full gaming experience” mode! VN Mode, i didn't know. I don't play it.

It does not. They couldn't find the bug so they killed it and turned it into a vn section.

Also, Lucania is one of the biggest maps Contracts gameplay system as well as one (okay, at least one of few lol) which I'm guessing will have the most activities/content in it (for those who haven't played/seen it yet due to just playing the game with the Steam version, here's what it looks like).
Basically, all the white spaces are empty spaces, and Hopes did say before that a lot of those empty spaces will get filled up as new content gets added.
Hence, I think it's in one of his priorities to get this bug fixed.

People suffering the bug sending their saves to Hopes seems like the way to track down whatever the elusive issue might be and solving it soon, hopefully (duh).
Also, 19 empty spaces in 40 locales - that's plenty of terrain to develop in the future.
Either way, looking forward to one day getting the MC face-to-face with Leilani, Alexia and other pretty ladies cited in those jobs.
(Or i could try an older version myself just to toy with that - who knows i could even contribute a buggy save myself, if i'm lucky )
That definitely puts the Contract maps in a whole new perspective. Half tempted to cross-check it with the maps in the two Bonanzo contracts, that are both set around Lucania from what i remember.

the climax of deluca would be luna vs gracie
i don't know whether the game would be developed linearly and the MC would choose one side over the other, or whether we would have a choice to choose either luna or gracie side, or whether MC would be a Third Party to that confrontation
i wonder where Eleonora and Gaia would be in all this.
Is hopesgaming do this full time now? because the next 3-4 years is gonna be epic.

Well, with Lelianna, MC actually sees her in Isabel's "Fly White Bird, Fly" event (she, who along with Jokren accompanies MC, Luna, Gracie & Isabel as their bodyguards) for season 1.
However, the way they are introduced plays a bit differently depending on which mode the player chose before starting the game;
1) Full Experience Mode: when Lelianna & Joren are introduced to MC by Luna, MC's response is
"I worked with Lelianna in a couple of contracts before."
(this is obviously referencing the 2 D-contracts "The Snooping Bonans" & "The Bonanzo Meeting" where MC worked with Lelianna)
However, with
2) Just Story Mode & VN Mode: when Lelianna & Joren are introduced to MC by Luna, MC's response from what I can tell is (haven't actually checked the actual in-game, given I don't really play these 2 modes, but gallery replay has the following, and I'm guessing it's for these two modes)
"I know of them, but I have not met them."
(the reference is removed given Wilfred's contracts content is disabled in these modes)
