Lived in Spain for 35 years, went to Barcelona like 3 times, if you ever go back to Spain go to Galicia best seafood, Valencia for the Paella, South Spain(Jaen,Malaga,Sevilla....all south for Gazpacho and Toledo for best Pork from a famous cook Candido. I'm retired now(last month) just finishing some stuff here and going back,got my 2 daughters there and my 3 only friends(will go to hell and back for them)

I loved the fish (y Bebeto!!) in A Coruna, very much Galicia!
Mijas (smallest bull ring en Espana!) was where I got introduced to paella.
Madrid por pulpo...
For Barca, I saw Rivaldo score a hatrick vs Valencia at Camp Nou.
Being introduced to rare steak felt secondary, at the time.
The joy of that introduction has lasted a whole lot longer, though.

Gain money by doing contracts and missions.
Gain stats by buying/earning gear, also by completing the side missions with the girls.

With all due respect to the local kicking-a-ball-around group (and I like some entertaining kicking-a-ball-around very much), my memories of Barcelona are indeed more about the city itself - and, yes, food.
(One of the more persisting memories is also kinda off though: the width of the sidewalks in large swathes of town, what a pleasure to wander around)

Very impressed with this game, with the renders and direction of the story. Haven't encountered anything else like it. Anyone have similar recommendations? Hopefully an update will come soon.

There's not that many f95 games which use the mafia genre as its primary focus like DeLuca, but having said that you might want to try the following games:
- Oath of Loyalty
- Alexandra

Both are good but not on the same level as Deluca. The writing for Deluca is just far superior to most of the games I've played on this site. But if they are looking for mafia style games then those are good suggestions.
what is truly weak is strong quest bugged, says I need a gun, I have the gun equipped and still says I need gun. currently playing 7.2

I played this game and I loved it. However, the thing that puzzles me is the MC's parentage and I have a theory on this. This may contain some spoilers so be warned. I believe there are three people that may or may not be their parents and they are
,
or the Serpent Woman (will not censor this as its basically a given right from the start). There is a quote from the DeLuca Capo that you should take into mind, "His parents where far from stupid people, but they were not known to be unnecessary cunning".
The serpent girl is obvious. So that is my game theory on who may or may not be the MC's parents.

Cordia is a non related main course of LI.
Most popular theory for MC's Father is one of the original 4 Serpents, the one who's burned out of the photo.
Guess is that he was with Cordia, when the photo was taken, then left her for MC's Mother, one of the other original Serpents. Hence burned.
Possibly now involved with the Mysterious 6.

That reminds me--when I started playing, I didn't realize there was a default name. I usually try to use that so that there is a common name when discussing here. Is there an easy way to reset the name of an existing game?

Well, I never actually said that they were on the same level as DeLuca (they're not, as you said DeLuca is far better than both of them, even though I do like the story of Oath of Loyalty quite a bit, and feel it is a bit underrated).Both are good but not on the same level as Deluca. And yes, writing for DeLuca is better that is goes far beyond just the mafia genre, but basically across all genres better than most games on this site.
2 questions;
1) What platform are you playing on, PC or Android?
If PC, go to Q2, if Android, sorry can't help you since I don't play on Android (you'll need to get help from someone who does)
2) Are you using cheat console codes or a mod to boost your stats?
If you're not using a mod, then I have no idea what is wrong on your end (since it works fine with mine).
If you're using any cheat/mod however, what I can say is stop using them because they screw with the codes of the game's pre-requisites with this mission more often than not (seen it happen with several people already). Load a save where you haven't used a mod/cheat, or if you're unlucky and don't have one, you'll need to start from the beginning again.
Cordia is one of the LIs in the game, and Hopes (the Dev) has said from the beginning that there will be no incest in this game whatsoever.
So there's no if's and buts to this. As Cordia said (when she caught MC in her office), she is not MC's biological mother, Rina is.
