This is a question I've been a bit curious with lately:

1) How often have you had situations where fans like us were dangerously getting close to guessing how things will actually unfold in game, with their theories?
And when they are close/really close, or 100% same, what thoughts generally go through your mind?
Have/do you get any temptation to change the direction (from your original plan) when this is the case (when fans get close in theories)?

I had some really fun to read theories both here and at the theory channel at my discord.
I always find it interesting to read. There is a common theme with people that theorize a lot that they think I laugh at their talks and theories but I never have and find it awesome to read. Guess it's because we are used to theorizing about big movies and books where we know that the authors never look. But here there is a bit more closeness between the author and the readers.

If I would ever change it? No. There is a great video out there with George RR martin about theories and changing it based on what the theories are. To simplify- it would lead to plot holes and inconsistences.

Yea, and a competition to exhibit the full spectrum of characters? (Like battle mangas such as Naruto, Dragonball etc, to prolong the serialization and to have a chance to intro the vast collection of characters)

I'm not sure if I understand.
But the characters will not go that far like in those series. It still follows this created univers rules.

There is an underlying problem with your question. If he says we are often right, we will start wondering what we are guessing right, making all future development less impactful.
If he says we are not right and says the truth, we will star looking for something else, discarding all ideas. If he says we are not right and lie we will later be disappointe that it did happened as we expected.

Best thing he can do in my opinion is not answer

I was half expecting him to say "No comment," but with HopesGaming, he's always answered my questions sincerely with honesty, and he did with this one as well, and I always appreciate his candor & being always open to his fans (because I know I ask many questions compared to some other fans, and sometimes for Devs when a fan asks too many questions it can feel like a handful)

These days, I'm trying out some other new adult games here and there, but it just doesn't feel the same as DeLuca (Hopes, I think you've spoiled us with this game )

No worries. It's just an example that I can think of. It's just a sub genre of shounen manga out there. I am happy to hear that you already have your story board planned out.

I have found my purpose, I will actively attempt to make theories that do make you laugh at them, and what better subject to theorize on than the mysterious identity of the MC's father...

This is me just rambling, but remember when at the end of his "date" with Luna that MC was only able to get 2nd place? Luna gives him the flash, & when MC asks, "What was the prize for 1st place?" She says "Something much, much better."

Now with Hopes saying tournament is planned for the future, I do wonder if MC would make a bet with Luna:

Luna and MC both competes in the tournament.
If Luna wins, MC needs to do something for Luna.
But if MC wins, Luna reveals and gives the MC the secret 1st place prize from their previous date.

Really Close competitive game, but MC ends up winning, & he gets surprised when Luna gives him the first place prize (which itself is incredible), but also something more.

Ahh..... Now I'm just letting my imagination run wild
But I think that would be a real treat for fans of Luna like myself and many others.

It's Antonio isn't it? He's the one trying to kill mc. That's why he sent the mercenaries to kill him at the beach house location and when it didn't work, he made Trino take the fall for him and he did because he was loyal to Antonio.

Now why? I don't have a satisfactory answer for that. It could because Antonio and MC are brothers (Cordia clearly was in love with MC's father and they had antonio probably and then he left her or perhaps he was cheating on MCs mother with cordia).

Also Gracie said that mc was a hostage and not a guest once. She's a smart girl. I think MC's father is a real big fish. And cordia is using MC as an insurance policy more than anything.

Of course all of these are just theories.

I don't think so, he was furious when the attempt on MC happened, and from what we've seen of him I don't think he'd be a good enough actor to pull that off unless it was sincere, also the mercenaries would risk getting gracie and luna caught in the crossfire

His father is a complete unknown (I do have a theory... no I mean a real one, not the one up there), but I think it's said at one point (maybe a conversation you catch on the spy cams? can't remember) that the reason has to do with his mother

I found it really hard to believe that anything that happens inside the house by a close member can escape Cordia and Uncle Wilfred's eyes. Specially if it involves more people as including Trino. So, unless Uncle let it happened, it is unlikely. Moreover, Cordia would not let MC get harmed, so Wilfred would not let it happen.

I really see no reason to distrust Antonio.

Well technically it isn't incest. So neither Hopes nor Cordia were lying about it. There isn't any blood connection nor was the MC's father married to Cordia. So she isn't even his step mum.

I only used the bugs and not the spy cams so I wouldn't know what planting the spy cams entailed. But I think Cordia and Uncle knows what you have been doing, like sneaking into the office and also your "over-familiarity" with the girls. Uncle even hinted once that he knows what you are up to with the girls and gave you a warning not to break the girls' hearts.
