My sentiments exactly. The announcement happening after the finale of season 1 kinda makes it feel like it was Gracie randomly getting hurt that influenced the decision rather than her proactively forcing them to accept her as a result of the hijinks of episode 8.

I didn't go through every single post, but I saw enough (well I did see your initial post and couple others), and lol.
As Carta stated, Hopes stated from the very start that DeLuca was going to be a story first focused game.
There will be sex/bed action, but full sex won't arrive until it is fitting for the story.

Not every game will have the girls jump the MC's bones the first chance they get.

There's plenty of games by devs on this website which take the slow burn approach toward the LIs which a lot of the fanbase are in it for the story, rather than the sex (and games like Hillside, and Summer's Gone 2 quite popular games, don't have sex scenes yet, but even so are great games).

You seem like a person who thinks of the sex being the main cake (and thus, is unlikely the main target audience of Hopes to begin with).

And to add further, there are even games on this site which has zero sex scenes (like The House in Fata Morgana) yet has great storyline, so any possible argument you may raise saying "This is a porn game website" is just.... nonsense.

F95zone is an Adult game website, and in that very wide "Adult game" umbrella, it houses porn/quick-fap games, but also slow-burn, more story oriented games (that will have sex in them) like DeLuca and others.

You forget that you don't PAY for the game. You donate to support the developer.
You gain no rights by donating money, and you even get the full game for free if you don't donate at all.
You plebs should stop to claim that you have ANY rights just because you pay some bucks - just read the ToS. Aside that, most people crying about what patreons should get when they "pay" aren't even patreons at all.

So i repeat myself: You may leave if you don't like it - no problem.

Well, okay, but the main reason people are complaining/whining here are that the main LIs aren't banged yet (and from what I can tell, main LI Charlie, there still isn't a sex scene with her yet).
Charlie's sister? Sure, there may be a path where MC bangs her, but given that she doesn't really seem to be given the main LI treatment compared to Charlie or Emma (I'm only interested in the former, not latter though both of them, there are no sex scenes), I'd say she's more of a side girl (like Eiza in DeLuca) than a main girl (like Charlie).

The honest answer is no. All of the info is somewhere in the 1300+ pages of posts, but here's a quick summary.

The next update will be mainly missions and any other bits and pieces needed to get the game ready for chapter 1 to be released on Steam.

Like any steam release, there will probably be some updates to correct issues before development resumes in earnest on the story.

Hopes, (the solo developer), lives in Denmark, which has a very high cost of living. He has needed to work a full time job to pay the bills, and this means long development times. This might change after the steam release but probably won't.

Hopes has always been clear about the fact that although he would like to work full time on the game, real life issues take priority.

Yes, that is true. He may not disapprove of them on a personal level but their opinion won't change stuff. Just like a chef in a Chinese restaurant may not bake a pizza even if people demand it, or a rock band may not be doing a rap song. He is "offering" a game he makes and people who like the theme and the way can enjoy it. We can still discuss whether he does what he does well, but there is a certain part of the audience this game is going for (like any other game) and if you (general "you", not necessarily "jhustrue you") are not part of this audience that is not inherently the game's (or better developer's) fault.

(The scene you are referring to is in my understanding more about the style of complaints than the content by the way, but that is probably not important for this discussion here.)

We would urgent the developer of this game to change all his plan and immediately add the necessary things to include at least one Floaty scene and one dragoon scene with each update. Otherwise we can not recommend this game, because of the lack of it.
We also future encourage this site to add the tags "Floaty" and "Dragoons" to it.

And no, it is not "of course" though "more and more" will certainly happen but it will just be less than in other games on this site (though as has been mentioned, we already have more than in some games).

So because this is the end of season 1, that means we'll be seeing this game finally being put on steam. Once that happens, if Hopes gets a lot of support from the steam sales and in turn, more supporters on Patreon, could lead to him working on the game full time. What people need to remember with this game is that, as Hopes has stated time and again, this is a hobby and not his main job, where he only works on it when he has the time.
