Is it possible that we finally get an H side scroller game that doesn't have really ass and floaty control and an actually good progression and level design? Say it ain't so.
Seriously, what's with H sidescrollers and floaty controls? Genuinely baffled.
surprisingly the game has basic animation behind the censors.
2 ways to go about removing the mosaics, (1)unpack the data.unity3d and edit the shader file like any other unity game or (2) MelonMod/BepInEx your way to mosaic removal. Tested both.
Made a working plugin. This is more a proof of concept than a fully function decensor at the moment. If it works for you cool, if not, sucks for you.
Extract everything in the zip to the "Game" folder and start up the game. It will take a while on the first load, but after that should load like normal.

Learn how to uncensor unity games yourself, it's easy as fuck and will take less than 5 minutes for most cases.

Btw for it to run on linux/wine you'll need to launch from $gamedir/Game/HolyKnightRicca_demo.exe not $gamedir/Launcher*.exe
You'll need to open "launch.txt" and set "languageName": "en", to get it in english (should work for other OS too)
that way you can run it on wine vanilla w/o the necessary dll for the launcher.
The game might look good and maybe has a decent story but the poor gameplay and bad controls just make it a bad game as 80% of all Hentai Side Scrollers ... if you get to the castle and the goblin boss you will understand what I mean ... clunky controls ... frustrating level design and too hard bosses (with the clunky controls) ... wants me to just enjoy the hentai instead of the actual game ...

What do you mean? This game has a god tier combat system compared to other side scrollers. There are so many moves and follow ups you can perform making combo potential amazing. The Goblin boss is easy, just keep crossing it up with down air while it's guarding and it can't attack you.
How on earth do you even defeat that stone golem? I game over on him like 4 times, and only been even remoted close 1-2 times (and getting a bit tiresome having to reply the tutorial and stage again and again).

Looks pretty good from the demo,just i wish it had better controls like a different bind for the strong attacks and block/walk not being the same button,also maybe a dash or roll?
Is there any scene from regular monsters or just the ones from being defeated in specific ways?
