Yeah I made a mistake with that in the last release. I did check into it and fixed it in my current build, but there's so many things I want to work on and that I'm in the middle of that I would probably break more stuff than fix if I released a patch for that. Not sure if it helps any but it's not necessary to finish that boss. It's an optional thing.I think there is a file missing in the update. I get this after i beat the dragonfly.
Thanks for playing and for the feedback. I am still working on it. I haven't really delved into it much yet, but the intro will actually change significantly in the next update. Mostly there are things I want to be in sync with the overall story and the current intro just isn't up to par. It raises too many questions that I can't give a satisfactory answer to. The storyline/events of The Tower will mostly remain the same, although I do want to streamline it, especially to have the monotonous doctor visits plowed through with one moderate cutscene that will skim through all those days....
I hope you stay activ in developing this game.
It really makes a lot fun to play!
The reason I haven't already redone the intro is because I want to redo a lot of the artwork. I'm trying to use asset packs I already have so that I can save money for use on character portraits and sprites. Here's an example of what I've managed so far:

Every time I would startup the game and try to playtest I couldn't help but notice the garishly large furniture and blurry textures besides. They clash so much against Sienna's sprite, as well as others. I might not redo all the art before the next release, but I certainly would like to have the intro redone. I think the game would look a lot better with appropriately styled and sized backgrounds and objects. Hopefully that won't take too long to accomplish.
