I don't post things too often, but occasionally I visit several similar forums. @Paladox From what little I've read over the years you're really on top of things on your Patreon and various forums, and respond to folks with great care and respect. I commend that and sometimes I think people don't hear that enough. So, there you go!
Interesting points raised; I can understand why changes need to be made. Glad that you listen to your fanbase while creating a game you and others would enjoy. I also had problems reading the introductory text and I get your point regarding the art in the Traits section.
Just began the Tower portion of the game. It's as odd as I remembered it; though, I do dig the claustrophobic and the nyctophobic feel as you go about in the dark caverns nearby (and accidentally running into an encounter if you don't have your eyes peeled). Anyways, I always thought the game was very jarring getting up to this point. It changes gears abruptly without regard to the passengers aboard, lol. The game is fun, but it's wild ride! Respectfully, here's a few observations of mine:
Regarding the Rosevynne / The Black Spider cutscene, some of the dialog is advanced by player input and some of it is advanced automatically. I think advancing the dialog one way or the other is preferable than mixing methodologies. I hope you don't think I'm quibbling over minor things. As a player, I just wanted to take in the ghastly scene that you've carefully weaved without having to worry about inadvertently missing some dialogs. Every single time I get to this point, I can't help but focus on what's happening on the table to the exclusion of other things. I need a moment to pull myself away so that I can actually read the text and note what other things are happening in that room, lol. Masterfully done, and, again, not for the squeamish.
Okay, switching topics; let's get to a few questions.
EDIT: 5. Will Sienna ever encounter that "slime" monster
Just curious.

Fascinating. I don't recall seeing any in-game lore thus far mentioning this.Earth co-exists in Sienna's universe, and she doesn't live on it. Her world is called Etria.

- What do gems do? How or where can I use them?
- Can all items considered "Ingredients" be used for crafting? For example, I have yet to find a place where I could combine or transform Life and Magic Essences anywhere.
- I realized that experience is only awarded to still standing party members. Does XP get divvied up among them or do each surviving member get the awarded XP.
- Similarly, since enemies are finite, does sweeping an area of enemies negatively affect future party members or will they be scaled to the party's average level somewhat? (I've never gotten to the point in any of the builds where the player gained other party members besides Dillon.)
