Sorry about that. I was thinking about possibly adding one more girl, but I think I'll actually save her for the next game. My next game will have a few different body types, including a bit chubbier. Look for that game next summer. Does anyone know what it will be called? The Fosters should be completed in the spring.

As far as The Fosters goes, Lucy is the only white girl. Sam and the MC are half-white and half Hispanic. Linda is of Mexican heritage, as are Maria and Julia. Elena's family brought her from somewhere in South America while she was a baby and Bella's family came from Central America.

If your save is from chapter 1, you should probably restart. If your save is from chapter 2, it should work. The only save issues I've heard about were from chapter 1, before some flags were retro-added or changed.

Worry about tags later. Better story comes from just going at it, then applying tags afterwards. even if the idea isn't for the MC to bang anyone but the wife, it would actually be one of the more unique stories that would involve NTR. You could even have it branch a bit, a path leading to Home Defender for the main idea, but have 2 flavors of the NTR where you are either the oblivious father, and the other branching into actually setting up the situations to happen.

Home Defender would have room for either a more comedic or serious tone in how you deal with the son. While the Oblivious route would allow you to "zoom in and out" of first and third person to get a view of the outcome without being directly involved. And finally, the active manipulation route could have you figure out creative ways to set up mostly unrealistic scenes. Setting up cameras to capture everything, sabotaging locks on doors, setting traps to create "accidents", etc. It doesn't need to be as serious of a story as The Fosters, and especially with the active route, you can have a more mature version of a form of "Home Alone".

Really, tags would come in after you actually get things done. Don't worry about fetishes until you get things fleshed out, then you can take a gander at tags to see if you wanted to add anything else.

They aren't contradictory. Because there are different paths, there will be different endings. I know where I expect the different paths to lead, but that doesn't mean I have the endings written out. This isn't Harry Potter; I'm not writing the story to get to my ending.

While some writers plan out everything that's going to happen before writing the story and stick to their outline, no matter what, I can't do that. For example: I was just writing a day 2 scene with Julia. In my outline I had certain things happening, but as I wrote it, they didn't fit, so those things are being pushed to a later chapter. Maybe those things will never fit the story. I'll have to wait and see.

Many writers let the stories guide them as they're being written. Stephen King has written about this many times, that his stories surprised him when they went in directions he didn't see coming. That's what I'm doing. Are there things I know will never happen in this story? Sure. Aliens aren't going to show up and capture everyone. Maria isn't going to snap and murder everyone in their sleep... I don't think. But, if there is a possibility of something happening in the future, I'm not going to say no.

Here's what I'll say as an absolute: Big John will not romance nor convince all of the girls to be his. Or any of the girls. This is not his story. None of the girls like him or want him there, including Linda. For Linda, he's a means to an end, which began as an escape but evolved into self punishment. If you're playing this game to see Big John have his way with everyone, don't bother. Will Big John get any unavoidable action? Nope. Will he get any action? Maybe... I'll have to see how things go.

Edit: I should add that I won't be making changes to the story based on public opinion, unless I specifically make a poll about it. That would be more for interactions between the MC and others, and not to add NTR content.

I loved reading that, I share the same kind of thoughts about writing and can see how others would prefer to write too. To each their own really. Also big respect for making it clear that the public's opinion won't change your vision for the game. That's the last thing an artist/film maker/writer or in this case developer should do. You seem extremely passionate and that special menu segment with Julia talking about other games made me really confident in your understanding of what makes a good game. You seem to observe the same kind of things as me when I play a game, and we probably both look at a lot of other same things in them too. Anyways, all the best to you dev. I feel like there are some scenes very few people will see. Like the Love path shower with Lucy. It's only a little difference, but I feel like it softens the tone of her exit.

There have been many of you talking about how the MC is just becoming version of Big John. I have to point out, that's only the case if you play it that way. Even though the MC had to agree to, at least, some of BJ's conditions, it depends on you whether he follows through with them. Remember, his primary goals were to get BJ out of the house and get his mother clean. If you countered BJ's deal, those goals are in motion. Even going with BJ's deal is an improvement over the situation at the start of the game.

However, if you're moving ahead with sexing up everyone you can get your hands on, did you actually realize that you are definitely following in BJ's footsteps?
