i have the same issue, and yes this is the part where i last saved the game

managed to get out of it by going back to v19 and from the game itself went outside of heathers house and did the save from there then went back to the latest version and continued the game

Yes - use the Search function in the top-right and search for it.

Follow the Oracle dude, instructions are simple you don't have to apply too much brain also, unless you don't have a brain and don't understand what the Oracle instructions are

Go to the church, then go upstairs with the stairs on the right, there will be a basin and if you click on it and give a status (the idols) you will get medicine essence or essence of intelligence

Maybe you missed an update or applied an earlier update accidentally: the cure is to apply all sequential updates from beginning to the latest or download most current version of the complete game and use that.

So I also have the freezing at the pool bug when I load up my game. Anyone have a v19 save file that's not at that part I can try? This is what happens when I only have one single save file and not multiple to fall back on.

I download the windows version. on a Mac version right click show package content then in the map app.nw replace all files from the windows www map you just downloaded
