I just love that people discuss the story instead of tags. Suddenly this thread became more interesting. Who knows perhaps your ideas will influence the story. Regarding the mmf. It will be easily avoidable and most players will not even find it in the first first playthrough.

How do you feel about me referring to "the THS "prostitutes""?

I find it difficult to feel much for the girls who are "working" for you. As opposed to Angelina (obviously) but also Jenny. Is that intentional? Do you consider them prostitutes as well?

Well sex isn't something required for the women of THS to partake in, but in order to make any decent money a lot of them have to at least accompany powerful men sometimes. Then they have the option to do sexual favors to make even more, in which case I feel like "escort" would be a more accurate term.

No, I don't look at them as prostitutes. Gold-diggers perhaps. Fallon is an example that you can make it in THS without having sex with anyone. I should probably give a more nuanced pictures of the people working in THS, but it's an erotic visual novel and I don't want to bore you with a bunch of characters that will never be involved in anything sexual.

Yes, I want you to care more about Angelina and her closest friends than all the girls working in THS.

That is my only gripe with the game so far. I would have traded the Chloe scenes plus the Lucy boat scene for one with Tenley. Other than that I've been loving the story and the characters.

At least, that's my opinion. I get there is a difference between a street hooker and an escort, but in the end it is the same, as per above logic.

For gold-diggers, shouldn't the digging take more effort? I mean, the stereotypical 20-something gold-digger that marries the 80-something rich guy at least has to get the rich guy to fall for her.

Fallon is indeed a good example though. I just saw her as the stereotypical secretary without considering her membership in THS.

But honestly, my mind also gets a bit overloaded with too many characters. Personally I play the game mostly for Angelina, Sophia and Mila content, as well as for the overall story.

I hope Angelina path is different of the path she took on the 2nd chance. there is a scene in that game, although is a very hot scene, i don't like it, because she is the main love interest of the main character of this game.

Yes, if I at that point had known that I would write a background story for Angelina and her stepfather then I would never have written that scene in 2nd chance (Season 2). I understand that it can make people concerned. Perhaps someone in THS will try to corrupt her, but she will not have sex with any other male character than MC in this story.

Don´t get me wrong, the scene is very hot. Personally I just don't like to share main character love interests.

Ok, really like this one. Have not read 2nd Chance.

The bad, the renders are not the greatest quality but certainly far from the worst I have seen (and do improve over the story to be fair). I do think there are far too many reused renders for scenes though. Animations, honestly are terrible, utterly terrible. I'll say it again, if can't do them properly (and I know what a PITA and time-sink they are) you're just better not having them at all. But that's my own perspective. Also refer back to reused renders again here. More effort to tell the story/show what is happening could be made (in line with this, a pet peeve of mine is dialogue/descriptions not matching what is seen).

The good, the story is great, content is up my alley for sure. Dialogue actually seems to be written by an adult and not a 14yo virgin. Sex dialogue also kept to a minimum which is also a preference for me (though I don't play/read VN's for the lewds). Sheets on beds! Gain huge marks for this alone, so many just don't bother and it irks the fuck out of me. Character models are nice, script is pretty good and the relations all happen in a reasonably organic way which is also another major plus point. Another major plus is the internal monologuing. I think you have it just right, too many VN's have far too much.

Third person narrative? Didn't bother me personally. Is it unusual in a VN? For sure but it's not a deal-breaker or jarring. I wonder if this comes from 2nd Chance which was test based? There are some slight issues with plot/what happens/MC's actions etc (like I think moving Jenny into the house was a little out there) but that is more expecting something from a character we are playing, but ultimately, we are not that person, so what 'we' would do/say in a given situation is different. I do think some things could have been expanded on, for example, when we find out THS are monitoring Jenny's phone...why did we not question if they are doing the same with us? Little things like that I would do/wonder/ask but our MC doesn't...

Regardless, enjoy this and looking forward to seeing where it goes.

as for the not not questioning the phone bit im pretty sure that the MC is kinda aware off such things because he already knows all members are monitored for safety of THS and/or its members which is explained early on if i remember correctly

Yes, there's too much reuse of renders and it's done on purpose. I don't want it to take too long between each update we release and I want the story to progress. Therefore we reuse some of the renders when it's possible. The plan is to do more work on renders and animations when the story is finished. We will go through the entire game and replace/insert new renders where we see that it's needed. The same goes for animations. We may even hire some more professional help for this if we can afford it.

You need to ruin your relationship with Jenny. If Jenny doesn't come with you to Provo then you will have time to flirt with the receptionist.

I'm not very far into the game but I'm already seeing inconsistencies regarding choices made. The wife asks the MC not to have sex with Jenny due to the perception of age, I choose to honor the wife's concerns and tell her I won't sleep with the girl, I have chosen every option not to do anything with Jenny sexually but then I'm talking to the daughter and answering questions as if I've been having sex with Jenny. It would be one thing if the story states that the daughter is assuming the MC is having sex with Jenny and the MC is going along with the assumption for some reason but that is never stated. So it appears regardless of the choice, the MC is banging the maid even though you're not.

Also, why is there the ambiguity regarding the age of Jenny, is she underage? If she is then that needs to be established prior to any sexual activity taking place, if she's not then that needs to be addressed straight away so there isn't any doubt. I am choosing not to engage in activity with her because I think she's going to end up being underage. I know "it's just a game, who cares" is the likely response but it matters to me in my play-through. So I was fine going along with the wife wanting the MC not to have sex with Jenny but I feel like the game is just assuming we are having sex anyway.

Okay further along in the game now and I guess it doesn't matter what you promised your wife or how you feel, you're having sex with Jenny whether you want to or not. Oh well.
