Ever thought about just use rl porn stuff for images? I'm not talking about just pick random images and smash together though.

Damn, someone didn't take their chill pills this morning. You better change the dev notes in the OP to reflect that view. Then people wouldn't comment on lack of images or give you crap for not have come up with them yet etc.

I don't know how my dev notes can be any clearer. I have written that this is a text-based game and I have tagged it as a text-based game. Still idiots are using this thread to discuss images instead of the story.

hey man, sorry if I misunderstood, I was just replying about u searching for an artist to do the ilustrations to give you some options to help you out. Your game is fine so, no worries. It does not have any need to have ilustrations it could be like spiral legend series as long as that was you are looking for, only to have it as text format. I was not trying to attack your game or anything. I have played the text version of all of them. From our point of view is hard to tell exactly what type of game you would be developing because it looks like you want it to be ilustrated even though you are making it as a text only and tagging it as text only (which has nothing wrong, you are a good writer). I do know how to make some what decent renders and stuff but at least for now I lack the time to be investing it even if they are paying me for it that is the reason why I was trying give you out some options.
I have a discord channel where I communicate with the artist that helps me with the illustrated version of the game, but I don't have an open discord channel where I promote my games or discuss with Patrons.
you might want to create one just for your paying fans, $10 or more. You might get more support.

my short "review" of this game
The characters are likable (i really wanted to be harsh to jenny but i just couldn't).
While the characters in the scene are only shown by a portrait, i don't really miss the CG in this game.
Don't get me wrong, good Renders are always nice to have! but the story is the most important thing in my opinion.
If not i don't need to play a Adult game, i can just go look for NSFW pictures online.
The scenes are written in a way that makes it clear whats going on(except in the beginning where we were suddenly fishing and i was surprised. maybe i have skipped a text box by accident).
But also the game doesn't go into way too much detail for everything. some text based games i played go really in depth and reading some scenes is tedious. i feel THS keeps a good pace bringing the story forward while giving us enough information to form the scenes out in our heads while reading.
if we get a full illustrated version it would be nice, but i am really enjoying the text based approach

I did notice a few instances of improper word usage. I can't recall specifically those from previous content, but I do recall one on day 14. Angelina is asking MC to "learn me" how to kiss. You might hear that in very rural parts of the country, but never from anyone with a proper education. Given she is attending an expensive school in L.A. I think I can safely say what she meant to say was "teach me".

Not to get on the shit train, but your dev notes do state you plan on adding animations an what-not. If that is not the case I would just change that for now until you do so. I haven't DL'ed this solely on that fact. (I don't doubt the writing, the comments say it's damn good, and you can tell a story), If there isn't any animations I can only assume that is why this hasn't gotten much traction. You seem to be able to make good renders or have people that can make them for you. I don't know if you get the fact that even with a high spec PC those take time. A LOT. It seems more like you aren't willing to wait for those renders to happen then anything. Like you gave up at the start knowing that you have to wait for progress. Unless something is animated it doesn't do well here. Even shit RPGM games do better than this.
Just my opinion, take it with many grains of salt, assumption, and intuition.
But I still wish you the best of luck, if a text based game is actually what you want. If that's the case, don't say/promise things you aren't even considering.
There is a link to fully rendered version under "other games", on the OP. It is called "The Higher Society, illustrated". If that is what you want, just stick to that one. It has only 1/5 of the current content here, however.

At the moment you're lucky because someone else is creating a illustrated version of this story and sharing it with me and my Patrons. This is however out of my control so I can't promise you that he will do this forever. All I can do is creating a story/game that's good enough so some people want to support the project or create pictures.

I understand, to some extent, as to the confusion regarding what type of game this is intended to be. However, I find it quite clear. It is written as a VN, but he can't do renders so it is filling in visual descriptions only when such information is essential to contextualizing dialogue. It is "text based" only in so far as there are not images used to tell the story, but the tag is still the most apt way in which to describe the content. I assume the full intent was never to write a fully text-based game, but to release this product as a "proof of concept" or "advertisement" to garner support and attract perspective artists to do the rendering.
I see a lot of people complaining that there are not renders, despite the fact it says text-based, and a lot of people complaining that there are no text descriptions of the sex, despite the fact it isn't intended to actually be text-based.
I am surprised how resistant many people are to just seeing a project for what it is. I hope you, or someone else, will aid him so it can become fully realized. But honestly, I agree with you - I would prefer it stay like this than be poorly rendered.
