I can tell you anything in that directory is going to piss off AV. If possible you'll really want to save the files %userprofile%/documents/<gamefoldernamehere> This is a lot less likely to piss off A/V or moving it over to the %userprofile%/appdata/Roaming folder if possible.

Because the dev posts here: This game absolutely rules my dude. Far and away the best 3d H-game I can think of. Great work and always lots of improvement - Trying this game a year ago compared to now was wild. Keep up the good work.

You areso fucking german it hurts my head. Btw, fyi, tahts a false positive.
I would look up how to white list the folder so your AV leaves it alone and stops crashing the game. Otherwise the AV will continue to interfere with the game's operation. I would also check for any updates to the AV's virus definitions so it has the latest available just for good measure.

I turned off windows defender via group policy then installed Panda Dome free. Micr0$0ft seemed happy. Guess what I did afterwards? I turned off panda dome, then I removed it from start up. Turned on focus assist so Micr0$HIT wouldn't bother me no more. Removed windows defender notifications from startup too. Now mein i3 9100F have never been this fast before. It does feel like a quad core 4.2 turbo now. Before it felt like a 3.0 ghz pentium core 2 duo man hell. This might not be best advise for people who are not that tech savy to remove a malware via malwarebytes trial then remove MB afterwards, but those who knows what they are doing can have good performance in literally any application they launching. Plus if they play pirated games, no fear of modified API dll's removal. They can use cheat engine, and any trainer they want which have access to your memory. BTW I see GPU utilization of my GTX 1050 ti in Shadow of Tomb Raider 100 percent after I do this. 10 fps gain too! In medium settings, 60 fps! with mild stutter when entering the tribal village.
Its still a false positive, Its not like the scanner looked at the file for an hour and then went "Oh shit", no thats not how it works, it just took him so long to analyse the dependancy chain e.g. see the larger picture, a computer is really stupid at doing this. they look at a file, see a rabidhole, and then make sure to map every single bit of said rabbit hole before making sure that the file is harmful or harmless in the first place. Id say somethign along the lines of "get an SSD" if it was something you could fix with an SSD, but alas, you can not. its just one of those small little lmaothings that kaspersky does.
You dont know how viruses work, right? because otherwise you could tell and i wouldnt need to.

If it were a small mistake he would only block or delete it.
Neither has one since sloppily programmed that so many antivurs programs but theater or what the problem is to be fixed.

If Viktor wanted to throw virus and malware at us, I think he would have done so much sooner instead of waiting for 0.9.4. This is clearly a case of AV tagging things as dangerous when it shouldn't, and I'm pretty sure Viktor is already working on fixing whatever causes those false positive.

der grund warum dein kaspersky so ausrastet ist weil kasperskys heuristische analyse zu einem bescheuertem grad genau und sensitiv ist, was unweigerlich dazu führt das das programm jedemenge falsche viren findet.
Den angeblichen Trojaner den er bei The last Barbarian.exe findet ist markiert mit PDM:Trojan.win32.Generic
Dies bedeutet das die strucktur des programms so ausgelegt ist das es möglicherweise ein trojaner sein könnte, damit meine ich das er erkennt das das programm daten sammelt, zum beispiel über ein feedback script, und dann diese daten nach außen absendet.
Meistens sind solche funde allerdings keine trojaner da heutzutage so gut wie jedes spiel daten über den betrieb des spiels sammelt und an entwickler absendet, also wird jedes spiel was nicht in der antiviren datenbank speziefisch als harmlos abgespeichert is als möglicher virus von dem programm markiert.
ps. der zweite fund ist aber warscheinlich ein echter trojaner.

The download links represented here are not made by me. I don't post my game files here, I answer here (cause every player is part of my community) but I don't share my game here.
So I downloaded my game from f95zone (Mega link) and from my original source to another PC.
Scanned it via Avast and didn't find any trojans. I don't use Kaspersky AV, because this scanner slows my PC too much.
Also I didn't receive any claims about viruses from my Patreon supporters.
So what I have to say at all.
1) I don't have any plans to share viruses to my players. I'm delivering "content" for my players for more than 2 years. This is what I'm doing here.
2) If you download game from pirate resource, be ready to get some virus. I can't be responsible for 3rd party links.
3) It's a porn game. It means that you can't download it via Steam (until release of course), so this game is still underdev and some AV can recognize it as "trojan" because game.exe needs to change save files (I'm looking for solution to avoid it).
About game crashes
- It happens when game can't get access to the save files in 99%. Please, check your AV settings.

As a rule of thumb, anything flagged with something like "Trojan.Win32.Generic" is not a virus unless it's some 5MB crack for a game downloaded from a Russian forum. Virus scanners use names like that for their overzealous heuristics, and there's a pretty high chance for any executable to fall prey to them.

At least Microsoft's built-in stuff doesn't need special backdoors to be added to the OS for it to function. You're right that it's a performance hog though - any folders that get a lot of I/O should be added to the exclusions.
