They didn't say that, the dev said that they showed the scenes to not "blue balls the readers" which if you've been on this site for 2 mins you'll see people cry about it to the end of times. So the dev had 2 choices: 1. no sex till the mc started having sex in the story, which would have led people to say "this only has femdom content, and the dom mc is bait and switch"(which people already doing, but I'll bet it would've been worse) 2. put a sex scene which also serve as a good story element for the mc to learn more about his abilities and help build the world.
And those scenes weren't just for the sex: first scene showed that trying to mind control the sisters is a bad idea. Second scene showed that fighting the sisters is a worse idea.
Now let's go back for a moment:
Like I said, the dev can't win. And it's like that in every thread, no matter what the dev does. So no, it's nothing to do with this dev specifically, but general attitude people have toward devs ways of telling their story.

here's a copy of the gui.rpy with the font changed to arial. it belongs in the game folder. you'll need to copy arial.ttf there too
In short: He can't please everyone and shouldn't have to or the game would be a mess, but can put a neutral way of dealing with them by giving choices

I don't really care about that, if they want people to skip their content sure, but so far all of it had important story elements(don't fuck with the sisters is a big one). But as far as I'm concerned, this is a maledom content and being tied up for one scene doesn't bother me in the least.

Agreed! I'm actually the kind of man like girls with white skin but this game truly change it for me. The women with black or tan skin in this was truly sexy, specially with their very realistic skin tone and texture, show how much the Dev very care to develop each model

You answered your own question with the "you play as" part. You play, you don't just watch.
I'm not a fan of multiple protags in porn games as devs usually do it wrong but in mainstream games it can be done right. Witcher 3, one of the most acclaimed games ever has many flashback segments. But you get to play through those, controlling another character, making decisions and interacting with the world. You don't just sit and watch like it's a movie.

No I think the issue is the game is too short. The flashbacks are ok, they give good exposition. But atm you don't do much with the MC, the flashbacks are like half the game
I agree, I have no care for inserting into the MC of the story, and just prefer to see how it unfolds. The way I like to describe it to people is that "I like to immerse myself into the story, not the character"
I can understand what you mean, I like some good sexual scenes, but these days I do prefer a bit more meat on the story
Part of the reason I'm giving this, and probably the next 2-3, update a miss, there just isn't much going on in the story at the moment and I understand that the Developer wants to build things up, but when each update only realeases a couple of pages of a book each update, it isn't really worth checking out until it's built a bit first
I mean... The game is still in early development. And I personally think its delivering higher quality than other games that move faster. Not to mention there are games that are even slower, with less substantial updates and still aren't as good as this.
After years following this kind of game to see them swallowed by feature creep and side characters that go nowhere I can appreciate a dev that (seemingly) has a clear goal and is just working towards it at a leisure pace.

then you probably should wait 2 updates, the dev said that the next 2 updates will be the mc progression story but the upcoming will start with the Brigitte sex scene so you'll get more probably by waiting for the one after.
