I'd ignore the people trying to insert 2020 morality into history, it really doesn't do anybody any good to sugar coat things.

Played through chapter one and I look forward to updates. Love the design of the older aunt (I think?). Hope she slaps us around some more! 
Yeah during Vlad's lifespan the Ottomans were at that stage of using crude cannons and the like (they employed them during the fall of Constantinople).
But yeah, you shouldn't stress if it's not totally accurate. You're already weaving in Vampires, Dhampirs, Cthulhu, Elves and troll-things so as far as I'm concerned you've got plenty of room for artistic licence.

Do you have more details? Sometimes the .exe tries to write on the log.txt file and gets false flagged.

I want to make the mom into a breeder too. My main character will never have to worry about a heir again.

I'd rather punish Sorina or however it was spelled instead and force her to have babies for her enemy. The mother for me is an erection killer some might like her but not me so I wouldn't mind if she disappeared as there will be many more girls to choose from.

We don't know yet her reasons for trying to have her father kidnaped. Not sure if she thinks her father is her enemy. I want to wait and see. I consider making her a breeder as a punishment but to each their own. It's all good. The mother isn't for everyone. Me personally i see her like a fine aged wine ready to uncorked and tasted that has not been able to be enjoyed for a long time.
Kidnaped? She led him straight into an ambush to get killed and gave him poisoned wine just in case he survived the attack... Remember, she was the one who urged him to go for hunting and supposedly checked the location for any danger. I see things differently. I wasn't talking about the peasant bandits were gonna kidnap him they were just there at the wrong time and threatening the king's life. The monster however my feeling he is there to kidnap him and the bandits were in his way and threatening his quarry. My guess is it has something to do with the monster in the vision the main character had. We shall see in the next update. I want more information before causing a severe punishment to a daughter. We don't know what Sorina told the daughter was in that wine. If indeed she knew then i am right there with you.
Nah, even if she's so fucking dumb and thought he wouldn't get hurt (which I highly doubt), she just lost a parent and her way of copping with that was to betray the other one, because she trusts a stranger more than him... I'd also like to remind you that she was introduced as someone who wants to become the next queen and for that to happen, the current king needs to be... removed. I get why you don't want to jump to conclusions, but if it looks like a duck, swims like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it's probably a duck...
