I can help with russian translation.

We haven't pinned down exactly when or if Colossus will be an active part of chapter 1. (We know he'll be showing up heavily in chapter 3 onwards but we'd like him to be in chapter 2) So we don't have Cyrillic that will need proofreading at the moment. What we do need for future use is any knowledge of the region I mentioned for accents and cultural phrases.*

You're probably going to be looking mostly at the early Claremont era, so Giant-Size X-Men/Uncanny #94 onwards. I think I mentioned a few dozen pages back, but I'm reading chronologically through the entire X-Men canon from GSXM onwards to the present day (about 7,700 individual issues at time of writing, give or take) and other than a couple of scenes featuring his recruitment and a bit where he goes back to Russia for a break, they don't really cover his early life much or his life outside the X-Men much at all. Obviously, I haven't read every X-Men comic (yet, at least, give me a few months), but I don't recall there being many stories about his life in the collective farms or as a kid. Same with Illyana, but she first showed up as a six year-old before getting taken to Limbo and aged up to a teenager, so she has an excuse. Really though, most of what they featured in terms of culturally appropriate dialogue was exclamations of shock - Colossus always shouting "bozhe moi!", Nightcrawler saying "unglaublich" and so on. To be entirely fair though, this is the pre-internet age we're talking about, and the height of the Cold War, so not having access to a Russian language consultant is forgivable.

RLE was all about sandbox and little in the way of stories, the way shiny presents it rn feels like something out of a modern persona game. I just want to know if it will be as time-constrained as that series, or will there be trigger points that advance the story like modern rpgs (with like, "warning - point of no return" kind of deal).

Another point I wonder is whether or not the player's relationship (or lacks thereof) with the girls can affect anything story-related or nah, or will this be something similar to the persona games and it's all just side-gravy, addendum stuff post-story scenes.

Pity... So, this probably means that developers may have some leeway in revealing the character of Colossus. Siberian region was a pretty compicated in terms of culture because since russian empire that was a place of exile for many peoples. I checked out some cultural phrases that are common among Siberians and was quite shocked... There are a lot of words are from ukrainian language, which even confuses russians from other parts of russia.

It will be a matter of perspective. I think it's porn with plot but admittedly depending on how much of the material the team wants to use that I provided it will ride the line. This is still a porn game though and we're not gonna blue ball you like a visual novel.

At this point, we have very face-value similarities to RLE. Only enough to warrant an inspiration credit.

I like the comparison to Persona but this will be a full-on sandbox. After the introduction, you'll be free to wander around and interact with the girls just like RLE.

Seasons will be "unlimited" in that it will always be summer or winter until you choose to progress the plot.

A major difference is that when you click to study or train with a character, there will be a conversation where the characters will either tell you a bit about their backstory or comment about an event that's ongoing in the Marvel setting that's unrelated to the X-Men. Nothing extreme, just like commenting on something they've heard. Usual small talk.

Yes.

Since it's a comic thing, there is a point where Jean visits her parents. You and Nightcrawler can go with her. If you're dating her she will introduce you to her parents as her boyfriend. If you're doing it as a friend, you wait outside with Nightcrawler then give her a supportive hug when she comes out.

Girls will also have personal stories, the above being an example, where it explores their side of events that happen in comics. If you're not going after them platonically or romantically you're just gonna focus on the important bits.

As time goes on there will be "side quest" that will be added as "DLC." They're not particularly sexy but having you be kidnapped by Dr Doom is silly and fun. Side Quest will be able to be done independent of a character's trust points and will be 100% optional as they're based off of the filler issues that Marvel put out in between storylines or the mini-series that don't 100% affect the main plot.

It depends on the girl. For relationships, you need both love and trust. Some girls will require an equal amount, some girls will be willing to act on emotions with lower trust and higher love, and some girls will need higher trust no matter how much they love you because fear of intimacy and all that.

For platonic routes, you'll just need about... 100 love? Though you'll still need to cap out trust.

It's easier to befriend most people than it is to get in their pants from my experience.
