  • No, players should be allowed to skip sexual scenes (might cause to skip few details in the plot)

I speak for myself, I am heavily considering supporting you but I do have to manage which creators I support which currently are 6 people for a total of 90$. I really have to see what's your work ethic before I commit, I hope you understand.
Just quoting myself here. This was a January 1st post. I believe you released one small patch in 8 months? While charging on a monthly basis, correct?

Gotta pat myself in the back for responsible spending here or in this case, not spending. I'm just gonna put this on hold until/if it gets finished but regarding my financial support, I've seen enough for now to know better than to support right now.

Being understanding is one thing but at some point it becomes inexcusable and you have to put your work where your mouth is. There's way too many lazy dev cash grabs out there already and some people like myself won't trust you at face value when you're on route to release two underwhelming patches in a year so far.

It's a shame, really. Hope you prove me wrong eventually and if you do begin to eventually put out patches consistently and this catches my attention again (last time I checked was January 21st so that speaks a lot of how this game is fading away from the limelight) you might get a Patreon since I like the renders but right now it's just another vaporware in my eyes.

I don't mean to be rude but if you keep delaying it, you'll lose the momentum...
Also this. I promise you from nearly a decade of experience that this is true and you can be killing your game before it even becomes a thing.

I do think that games on here need to generally change to a pay per release schedule ,across the board. It's seems crazy otherwise. I always support games no matter how their renders look because the same thing happens every time. A Dev needs new x y or z to get new hardware. The never ending circle of a one man band that could play a song when he started, but now needs more time and more instruments to even fart out a render. I'd rather a game made in ms Paint, with a good story that updates regularly.

I bet if you were to look at even patreons of abandoned games they still get paid.

I've spent plenty of money on Damaged Coda and believe he is the real deal though. His work speaks for itself and I think a lot of Devs work on too many paths which creates many scenes. Life gets in the way sometimes too.

There is games like that already (first one that came to mind). There is even a tag here for real porn for visual novels that use it.
The "real porn" games are just ripped images or videos and stitched together. The idea behind "Once upon a time" is cool but for it to be successful, you would have to have written the entire story with storyboards and only then shoot the scenes over a short time. You can't drag the dev of a game like this over several years, people (models, staff) are too unreliable.

The first game the other user posted seems just like they got a bunch of actors an shoot the scenes.
