Stealing the complete artwork of a different game very blatantly and using it for an "own" game is something new even for a pirate site.

Monetizing someone else's work to this degree is bush league. Whataboutism doesn't change that.

It's surprising to read all the rage against this game while the games using stolen porn videos and pics are not criticized except for their playful quality

YOU may not think it's lame but that doesn't stop it from actually BEING lame.
You have reused all the OG renders from their product and created nothing new. It's all reused. The dialogue is worse. The UI is fucking ass. Having chat bubbles appears at random places on the screen while having narration appear in a unfamiliar place in a small section/ top right of the screen are examples. Blocking the ability to skip through the bad dialogue, which honestly just makes me pay MORE attention to the bad dialogue was a bad choice as well. Having a white font inside of a menu with a white background wasn't great either.
I'm not going to rag on you for ripping off Lust Theory. There's plenty of games here that are rip-offs of popular media/IPs like Overwatch, Harry Potter, and some even use the IPs logos too. So I just wanted to focus on the actually quality of this thing.
I usually try to be positive and find something good about these VNs, but there's NOTHING good here man. I'm sorry.

This is exactly what it is.
There's some that are confusing this game with other games that use SOME assets from other IPs to create their game with THIS game that has 0 original content, just replaced the dialogue and put up a Patreon to gain money.

Strive, try and work. I'm sure you'll succeed. Just don’t stop, because then starting again will be difficult or you won’t want to.
Make the game as you see it. People are all different, and you won’t be able to please everyone. The main thing is quality in everything.Whoever likes it will come to you.

To add to this, it's one thing to make a copycat game and post it here. Let's be honest, most people here don't have a moral high ground to stand on regarding that. If you're doing it as a learning experience for the future, that's fine too in my personal opinion. It's quite another to set up payment pages for reusing someone else's work. You're not even crediting them for your 'inspiration'. Saying "from another game everyone knows" is NOT good enough.
If Lust Theory were to have been abandoned, it wouldn't be quite so bad, but it's still being actively developed. I'm fairly sure you didn't bother to get Inceston's blessing to go ahead with this. If you really insist on continuing this, I would take down the payment pages, properly credit Inceston, and then work on improving what you've made and learn from it. It could possibly lead to you creating your own original work in the future.

All the rage is readable in the first pages of this thread, no need to read all the post till the 7th page to have an opinion !
How this got approved and posted on here is beyond me... This isn't a fan remake or a mod... the work of inceton blatantly stolen and sold as a new product. With different story but all characters,scenes,animations and enviroments are exactly the same. This is not alright... The dev should focus on making his own game from scratch instead of ripping off work from others... IF (and i seriously doubt he even bothered to ask) inceton was fine with him using all his work..Then it's fine.. But i seriously doubt he'd allow it

It is "lame" to take someone else's work and just slap something else on top then try to pass it off as your own. This isn't just a blatant ripoff it's also lazy as hell. If you want to make a game of your own, go do it and use your own characters and your own renders, don't just steal someone else's.
But hey, I'm sure you're probably loving all the attention you're getting here because this was the point, wasn't it? Not to make a game of your own (because you didn't) but to pull off a massive troll move and then just sit back and watch the chaos ensue.

I can tell u this since i already ask them, the Inceton devs has found out about this and did not allow it and are getting to the bottom of this.
