I wouldn't get too excited till the update is actually released as there has already been many supposed releases that never happened already.
Imagine being a patreon of this project. I am probably addicted to porn, because I know a lot of porn games and I have seen projects being postponed. Let me tell you, this is not how it's done. You write BEFORE you are about to go on a break, or at least DURING your break, and pause the subscriptions. This is a common practice because, well, you are not doing work, you are not receiving pay. To come out and say, that a dog ate your homework a year after she ate it is insane, and to collect money that entire time is simply incredible. Like, imagine thinking you are getting money for the process, like your patreons are sitting there on the edges of their seats thinking "Fuck what I get to actually play, I just hope her work process is going great". To see this drama and stay subscribed is just FinDom with extra steps. This is actually why the website encourages creators to make these dumb tier rewards nobody cares about, like "pitch $20 and get an origami bird in your inbox" - that way, if you stop posting and fuck off, it only takes one month for the patreons to realise, that creators changed their names and moved to Canada. It's funny, because sometimes you see some furry painter trying desperately to earn minimum wage drawing squirrel lactation porn bdsm qsp video game, and downloading that stuff feels like kicking a puppy, and then there is the Red Room, where you are actually bizzarre and probably immoral if you DO pay the creators.

so Im just curious, is there even a way to avoid the game over timer thing that you have after meeting the redroom chicks? Or is there actually no progress beyond the first 2 quests still?

This game has some very nice models and features some characters that actually show a bit of age. It's nice. I really hope that this will go somewhere. The number of dicks was a bit surprising at first but the overall story makes it easy to forget about them and I don't really mind anyway.

I can understand a bit of armpit hair with them having a lazy nature but if they have a lot why not just resort to making some chubby, neon hair futa that works as a journalist for some ultra progressive newspaper?
