I hope not :p... though I admit I'm curious how "nice" would manifest in this environment... Technically I think "nice" would be reporting the whole mess to the appropriate authorities leaving the MC with nothing but blueballs as all the women are taken to safe recovery areas since any sex with any of them would be considered under the influence of a roofie (aka "not nice")
In my opinion, there is a small blurred line which may or may not isn't crossed (haven't read through last releases tbh).

Best example is Melissa. You could ask yourself if you should do the last step or not but this decision doesn't change her further arc, only her facial expression (which could be changed again but only if player is eager to..)
Another is Doug. It doesn't change a thing if you are friends or rival with him.

Audrey already has a soft spot for his kink and those are blurred lines. It's only the facial expressions of MC to state a somehow confrontational approach of conversation. If Horizontical would erase those understatements of the conversational approach player is going for the moment, it would be a whole other game.
Dev of New Coral City tried those expressions but would loose fans when changing to those, Horizontical implemented.
Horizontical made both. On screen renders and conversation box facial reactions.

As 'older' players of this game, we both know those convo box pictures:
1701814804784.png = neutral
and so forth
+ conversational partners expression
1701815102644.png 1701815537868.png and so forth = pissed but further on talkable to

I've read through many posts and it seems, a lot of players only see those facial expressions Horizontical implemented to state the course of the conversation and couldn't differ either between an MC's story and a story they want to play for themselves (like roleplay) OR they didn't like those "exploited" facial reactions on decisions they thought would be harmless but leading to laid content.
Some even stated they don't like to get a look like that in the conversational box.
"Harmless" is another thing in most of the games on F95zone. e.g. stealing money in other people apartment, breaking into homes to look at sleeping girls or on those occasions hiding behind something to get a look on girls, buying videocams and installing them in other ppl home, buying binoculars to see their neighbours naked, .... stalking, tracking, observing, breaking other peoples privacy without consequences.... Well, that's not harmless at all but most didn't care when body fluids are going.

For me, best example of an 'good'/'nice' ending was Mayor Mayor Mayor. He stopped threatening Natasha like he did. The exception is when player decides to but only then. Otherwise her working area at his place got better for her. If there wasn't a gas leak making woman give in, she may could raise above his head.

Point is,, we could go through all those girls and each of us has another opinion about the point of those blurred lines where it ends to be a ''nice' thing but if those facial expressions wouldn't be there and MC would be shown with his "neutral" face the whole game long, those lines would change because some wouldn't even recognize the course of the conversation ongoing on screen.

in my opinion best and shortest walkthrough is (which is art in itself the whole 10+hours long and exceptional for Horizontical's work):

I think maybe something got lost in translation. I have no idea why you are talking about facial expressions.
My point was the moment you know someones ability to consent is compromised, you can't have sex with them without it being rape.
It makes any "good" route problematic unless you have a way to neutralise the condition. Of course there are a number of "less evil" ways a story can unfold within the rules of "porn logic"... Like I said it's all going to be a surprise as far as I'm concerned.... though I'm not in a hurry to discover it... I'm just happy to find a game were the MC isn't constantly pandering.

Well, it may was a hint that your walkthrough stated nothing about not implemented features in the new release, Dude

nope
Yes they are... On that device called keyboard on your PC, you have to press the key Ctrl and the letter F at the same time. A small dialogue box will open, there type the word "Collectible" followed by a space, the # symbol, and the number of the collectible you are looking for.

Page 1: Use your laptop. Click on the insect on Leah’s hair in the background photo. [Collectible # 3 unlocked].
Page 1: Now enter and talk to Mel. Small talk. Buy something. When this menu is open, click on the cigarettes [Collectible # 5 unlocked].
Page 1: Try to find out more about your coworkers. While the folders are open, click on the box on the upper right [Collectible #15 unlocked]
Page 2: Click on the chair again, but do not click on anyone. Click on the left, where the fish painting is [Collectible # 14 unlocked].
Page 3: Now spy on Audrey with the cam option in your laptop. Click on the word privacy after spying on her. [Collectible # 16 unlocked].
Page 5: Open your phone and check the photo. Now click on the Patreon logo [Collectible # 10 unlocked]. Sleep

Ooomph... just downloaded this and tried an older savegame.

Why are the mom / sister called "friend's mom" and "friend"? Any way to fix?

when you meet your "sis" you have an option in the dialogue to designate a relationship (guessing you skipped past the dialogue that gave you that option)

Any update on this?

A working console command to set the proper relationship - the one from this post doesn't do anything
As far as I understood previous posts on this matter, the term "friend" and "friend's mom" are used if everything else than determined (another post on the subject by Horizontical) for "special relations".
In your case, I would try the bugfix function in the laptop ingame first. (big, fat bug symbol) - You may want to save and reload the new one after -
Thereafter you could use mentioned command (you may erase the blank space between $ and persos....

But, there is always a chance, your old save doesn't work with the newest release....

Thanks, tried that but nothing changes. Saving and reloading after either action doesn't change the info in the relations screen.

Yes they are...
I see....
What I meant with my comment was, I wasn't able to click the first obvious collectibles with an new attempt starting another playthrough.

Looks like previous collected ones in other attempts aren't set to 0 if someone starts over (which was previously similar stated in another post but left without conclusion)
The achievements instead seem to look fine

I'm not able to find any instance where I can change Bobby's schedule so that he and Andrea are together regardless of what the walkthrough says. Is the walkthrough out of date or have I missed something despite following the walkthrough to the letter?

you don't change anyones schedule, thats not an ability you have.
it might be helpful if you say what you are trying to do, what you have done etc.
But of the top of my head I'm guessing maybe you want you harass Andrea into taking pictures of Layla, get her to do that for long enough and her schedule and Bobby's will sync. and you will have more options with their interactions.

According to the walkthrough:
Day 27 (Friday):
3 pm: Summon Bobby to your office. Question. Spying on Audrey. Show him the photos. Now go to the
warehouse and tell him that he stinks. Change his schedule

So, either the walkthrough is out of date, poorly worded or the dialogue in the game does not reflect that his schedule is automatically altered as a result of these events. In any case none of the followup events with Andrea and Bobby in the showers happen despite my having done everything else in the walkthrough including getting all of the pictures of Layla from her.

I've noted multiple instances in the walkthrough where the events in the game don't exactly match but have managed to work around most of them to get "on track" with how it's laid out. This one, however, remains unresolved.

The walkthrough is Fan made, maybe ping Mr Nadie, about suggestions for improvements or gaps in it's accuracy.
It's hard to keep track of the various conversations and their prerequisites but of the top of my head, I think that part refers to a conversation with Bobby the "change in schedule" happens as part of the conversation... do what it says, summon him to the office and talk to him. selecting the "spying on Audrey" and "show him the photos" dialogue choices, then find him in the warehouse and talk to him again, have the conversation where you tell him he stinks and he needs to shower same as the girls.

Obviously you will never catch Bobby and Andrea in the showers together if you never told him to start taking showers, (Andrea gets kicked out the showers when Layla catches her taking pictures, forcing her to shower at the same time as Bobby)

I don't use the walkthrough and I've never not had those conversations with Bobby so I don't know if it bugs out if you fail to do so in the proper order. There are a few ways you can miss content in this game, certain choices make a big difference about what options become available.

As I've already stated multiple times, I'm following the walkthrough and have done what it says to the letter including everything listed in that particular step and asking Andrea for all of the pictures. I appreciate that you're trying to help, but if you're not going to pay attention to what I've written then your solutions aren't likely to be all that useful. Thanks anyway. I'll just wait until the game is finished (or abandoned) and try again another time.

OK, now I understand. Yes, that's true. The collectibles are stored in the persistent save. So, any collectible that you find, will be stored until you delete the persistent.

This is not the case with the achievements

You don't do it as in clicking a button. You just tell Bobby to take a shower with Andrea, hence changing his schedule.

I'm so tired of accusations that I don't pay attention, but in this instance I did miss something,
in your first post you say
...despite following the walkthrough to the letter?
This made me think "Great if you followed the walkthrough you should be on track", (Like I said I don't use walkthroughs so I can't swear to this but Mr Nadie is pretty diligent and from my quick read through it seems accurate).

But in your second post you say (this is what I didn't quite absorb)
...I've noted multiple instances in the walkthrough where the events in the game don't exactly match but have managed to work around most of them to get "on track" ....
Soooooo you didn't follow the walkthrough to the letter!!

So if you noted several mistakes in Mr Nadie's walkthrough why do none of your posts share any of them? I'm sure Mr Nadie would love any constructive feedback that helps improve his walkthrough. He's only human, donating his time to make a walkthrough to help other players, doing the best he can with the information available to him.

and of course on your third post you are back to claiming you followed the walkthrough "to the letter"!!!

Bud, I gave you the best advice I could with the information at hand, if you are going to refuse to communicate properly you can't expect more, as I said there are several places in the story that can drastically change the options available to you, this is NOT a VN where story stays on the same track no matter what you do, options will vanish if you don't complete the correct prerequisite actions first.

Not sure if I'm stuck of have run into a bug. I've played this game before so I know the general flow, but it's been years. On this fresh playthru I got stuck on Claire's stuff super early. The quest log just shows:

"Claire's dilema - I should talk to Clarie about her affair with Sam. ACTIVE"
I did see her and Sam and pretty sure I got the picture, I'm getting the blackmail options with Sam, but nothing with her for some reason.
If I talk to her alone at the Cafe I get four options:
- I would like to eat something! I'm hungry
- What do you think of our relationship? [Not much to say, not optimistic, Like = 5 Dislike = 12]
- Small talk [Don't have much to say now]
- I'll see you later

If I go to the Cafe while they are both there I get this dialog:
"I guess they're being careful now..."

Talking to her with Sam their gives all the same options as when she's alone.
Talking to Sam he claims their rarely together.

If I talk to Sam while he's alone I get:
- What do you think of our relationship? [What relationship? We don't get along, Like = 0 Dislike = 77]
- I would like to eat something! I'm hungry
- Anything else about the job [Yeah, it's a bit tiring, I must say...]
- I have something to tell you about Cecilia [Give her sleeping pills]
- I have something to tell you about Claire [Option is there but clicking it does NOTHING]

If I hang around at the pool I can talk to Claire, but I just get the same options minus the buying food.

I've waited around for two days straight at the cafe looking for events.
I've talked to Claire every time she's at the pool.
I've looked for options with Cellila.

I got nothing...

To tell you how far in I am, I'm on Day 53 and I've done the conference. I tried the Melvin event but it was lack luster because I hadn't blackmailed her yet.

Is there a step not in the hint that I didn't do or did I break the quest somehow? Help...
