How do you make money in this game? I'm pretty much stymied, I was given a certain amount of money to begin, I've worked a lot, even the weekend, and I'm at day 10 and I've only spent money on food and now I have no food or money. I thought I'd get a paycheck after working a week, but there's no money coming in and I'm going to starve. How do you make money to stay alive?
For the hardest way to play without a mod/cheat:
Your "MC-personal" income could, as for v0042, be pushed by different "choices" you are coming through by the storyline.
First: go to the archive, as MC mentions in earlier conversation, he has no clue of that kind of business of Astoria.
Learn "about company" several times (with v0032 it was grindier) Max seems 100 bugs/hour for his work at that stage of gameplay.
Second: the more your coworkers "like" (speaking of a "like/dislike" relation) you, the harder they work. The harder they work, the better the sales are...
The productivity chart on your display ("eval"-something) has a use and wasn't implemented in previous releases. As you may could figure, its your "like"-Status with your employees.
Therefore, the "bad guy only" is early game starvation.
Third: there is robbery. Solve it as soon you are able (you get compensated (included by Developer of the game), if you didn't stop it on the first try. The compensation is, your employee works harder which (haven't calculated it as I didn't made a screenshot of the warehouse difference card in the archive) is a starter to compensate further losses for MC salarie
Fourth: Diana photoshoot as early as possible (connection is Alpha-Male and its the very first photoshoot you could think about ingame). It's a marketing campaign
Fifth: your own working time spend
Sixth: as Developer mentioned, use Memocash as it is repeatable at same hour (be smart and use QSave/QLoad)
Seventh: for the beginning, the time spent on your flat mates, could be postboned for later. Those are really time consuming

Edit: well, there is a conversation with one of your coworker about a loss of 8000 in 2 month (4 weeks each), so... there is some profit to make.
Edit 2: tried it without Memocash - with my knowledge of the first steps ingame, of course, but using this guide - and got ~1700 for my first week. Was hard with 500bugs, that's definitely true, and I only set Emma and Bobby on 2, whereas Audrey with a relation of +20. Miko wasn't an option as I didn't had the money for and missed the Lara relation to set further. (bought 1 cam, nothing else of "special"). I took Andrea aside at 3pm on Friday to have a serious adult conversation with her (v0042- "don't do it again..." (+10 REL) is repeatable) So, her bonus to the branches income per working hour for the whole week (conclusion: could have been set on Wednesday at the earliest) was lost but on monday calculated.
). It was also a lot of fun to discover the story of Andrea (best girl of the game) and the creepy Bobby, although I'm sure I missed something anyway, because when she asked "Did you talk to Bobby yet?", MC always answers "I didn't".
