You don't need a cheat to delay the conference. The conference is triggered by calling Charisma. If you never call her, the conference will never happen. Cheers.

Man, the game can be completed in 60 in-game days, and each day takes at most 15 minutes. Hence, the playtime is like 15 hours AT MOST.
