I discussed the whole idea with my wife and we agreed that if you are trying to leave your old life behind taking someone from your old life with you isn't going to make the transition easy. You can't be in love after one brief day (neither of us believe in love at first sight or destined love) so what if she gives up her life, moves with the MC, and the relationship doesn't work out? She gave up everything on a whim and now is stuck with the MC wherever they end up.
Me? Happy? Why the fuck would I do that? Sounds like a bunch of preplanning, a ton of unnecessary city permits, and too high of an energy expenditure for too low a reward...
We haven't met the other love interests yet, Ericka may be the least interesting of them all. What happens when the MC realizes he'd rather be with someone else and she's stranded with him? Is the player/MC stuck with Ericka now that he decided to bring her with him?
As I said above... Also, iirc Ericka had just started her job so she's throwing all of what she has away to go with the MC on his "reinventing" of himself? When you say I should rethink my decision it sounds like you've created a contrived reason for her to be included in the rest of the game if a player doesn't choose to be with her. Unfortunate because there's really no logical reason I can see for her to go with the MC if the player chose not to have a one night stand with her/start a relationship. I am sure it would be a lot of work for you to cut out an entire route involving Ericka if player's decided to not romance/fuck her, considering we haven't met the other Love Interests and this isn't a harem game I just didn't want to lock the MC down to one character so early. Which taking Ericka with him felt like it would involve.
We shall see, tbh I am even more skeptical now than I was before...
And HP it is piqued. <---Me being a nitpicking douche.
Though my interest may have unfortunately peaked with the previous update, I will have to play episode two when available to make up my mind.
That would be fucking amazing!
