so Im only using magic ore and things like that to upgrade my weapon, not craft?
also with cursedness? is that how many times you upgraded the weapon from scrap? I notice some swords having like 135 but idk what that means.
if you use magic ores you get magic weapons, they are phisically weaker but tend to have high element damage, on top of the various bonuses the ores give you, since the elements are random it is best to see what weapon comes out and enhance it with the respective element shards, of which you will find better versions later, or magic shards if you are feeling lucky, magic weapons are good for spell like skills and elemental damage but elements can be resisted too, just experiment a bit and see what you get, also if you enhance a weapon with a scrap with the same skills on it the skills will level up, the same happens by fusing the unique girl materials, by forging multiples of the same type you get a weapon with worse stats, since those materials are pretty bad by themselves, but higher level skills, as for the cursedness I think that is the damage you do with the cursed sword skills and it goes up on it's own based either on story progress or soul upgrades from Doroelle

i've just learned to cheese this game is basically grinding weapon skill to max(10) then break it to scrap, the scrap will be around lv5 and with two of it and an accessory with 2 enchantments, by that you have maxed skill accessory and you will need any weapon on hand to use the skill freely, and make sure to not step on trap if you want your accessory to survive.

Been days to learn this one, but i hate the fact the every scene i've seen is not arousing since they did it everytime im not prepared.

I never quite understood how to level up weapons. is it just the amount of items you craft that gets your score up every life? I thought it was forge level but I still craft weapons with only 2 upgrade slots at level 5 so now I am unsure.

it's simply forging a ton of same weapon that have the skill, and the weapon with specified skill and has more than 2 enchantments need to enchanted with any scraps that have that specified skill.

instance:

scorching sword lvl 1 flame arrow enchanted with 2 scorching sword scraps will be lvl 3 flame arrow.

you must break that lvl 3 enchanted sword and that be lvl 2 scrap.

have new scorching sword with lvl 1 flame arrow and enchant it with lvl 2 flame arrow scrap and lvl 1 flame arrow scrap.

you now have lvl 4 flame arrow and repeat recycle.

god this grinding is just stupid.

the question asked was different I think, you explained how to level up skills, not weapons, there are no weapon levels technically, you have weapon tiers, the weapon you get, as I already explained in another post, is determined by the material stats, mass determines phisical attack, magic determines magic attack, and the third stat I don't remember the name of determines durability and max enhacement level, I think it was tenacity or something along those lines, it is also explained near the start of the game, one of the first memory books you find explains it, it may be hard to remember since immediately after reading it you get the boobjob from Doroelle,

still the idea is that better materials are more durable and as such hold more enhacements, forge level seems to have an effect on that as well, as I got low quality weapons with 3 enhance slots instead of 1, but we are talking about endgame level forging, for more slots you need better materials, also to get skills up you can a use the sword shrines in the dungeons, if you have a weapon with only one skill it will guarantee a level up on that one,

scrap seems to halve the level of the skill, or around halve, as level 10 becomes 6, if you want more enhacements you need to make the weapon with better materials and add scraps after most of the time, scrap does retain some stats so it is better than girl weapon materials stat wise but it is still better to use stuff like silver and steel, it also gives higher durability,

after a bit, if you save the catgirl, you can buy scrap from her and it usually has at least a couple level 2 or 3 skills on it, even the girl weapon ones, sadly you do need some good material to start but by using the skill method explained in the above post you can get a lot more out of your weapons as the upgraded skills have higher damage multiplier and sometimes even hit counts, the lady knight skill goes from 3 hits at 70% damage to 5 at 150% so it is definitely wort it

Ugh, finally got rid of the 4-th boss, the patch 0.82f fixed the glitch I talked about earlier where the red magic barrier in the garden just sits there and you can't progress.

Many people were complaining about the lack of soul drops, do not worry, about ~30% of the times you respawn at base, next to the chest there will be a soul drop ready. You can collect them and stack them.
Edit: holy shit, no, read my comment below.

since patch 0.82d

・Outposts will now not contain Soul Drops.
・You will now have a lower chance of receiving Soul Drops if you have more Soul Drops in possession, whether in your inventory or in the Storage.

I am playing on 0.82d
Let me translate this bullshit for you. The maximum number of soul drops you can possess in items/stashed in the chest is 6. After you get 6, no soul drops will ever spawn. So now you don't have enough soul drops to reach the boss and actually defeat the boss. I already defeated boss 4 and boss 5 is not ready yet so now I am starting to wonder, is the game playable? Is it possible to win? Should I change my rating to 0/5 cause the game decreases soul drop chance to appear, the most important item, to 0%? (With max upgrades for erosion speed and cursed sword erosion cost by the way...)

I reached and beat boss 5 with only 2 soul drops.

Just... go down the portals.
If you rush through the rooms and don't explore you won't have to deal with erosion, and then you can use the bonfires to reduce erosion by 30% or more.

How the hell do you walk past hundreds of enemies and find the exit portal on time?

yes, my weapons 1 shot them, but there's hundreds of enemies, and you have no idea where the exit is.
I'd suggest to use environmental destruction to your advantage and funnel enemies into a bottle neck when you are outnumbered, but you should have already figured that out....right? How did you get down there unga bunga-ing

Actually... here's a big brain move - stack/purchase invisibility potions, lots of them, and use them to completely avoid combat and rush to the boss as fast as possible to keep erosion to a minimum.

Oh yeah, another balancing issue the game has, sometimes when you are killed, the game spawns one of the toughest female enemies in the game to attack you, and when you break free you use the cursed sword circle attack, and normally they would die from the "true damage", but now that true damage isn't enough, so THEY SURVIVE, and by the time you equip a weapon and try to finish them off as you are resurrected again, they kill you again, this ends up costing you like 50% erosion, absolutely stupid.

That's unlucky but you could still throw something at her, sleep potion or anything.

that is the hentai part of the game at play, the whole point of being killed is to see the girls, the normal enemies don't really interact with your body so if there are no girls around the game spawns one to give you something to look at, as you progress the dark sword becomes more useful as a tool anyway but I do aggree that from a gameplay standpoint it is not really well balanced since it invalidates the whole point of the dark blast, from a porn standpoint it does assure you see a scene every time you die at least

Half the times the enemy is in a one-square-horizontal-two-squares-vertical position, so you can't thrown horizontally, you can't throw vertically, you can't throw diagonally. So you get stun locked and lose 50% erosion. The fix here is for the devs to make the new spawned enemy that arrives when you die to have like, 100 health, much less than the normal enemy, so that the cursed sword AOE attack on resurrection is guaranteed to kill them.
