When I got here I came for the porn, but half the games here I play for the story now. The sexy stuff is just a bonus honestly. I applaud the devs here for making intriguing games that keep me glued to the story and coming back for me. If you want to fap to something just go to pornhub.
Honestly that intro was one of the most slap in the face attention grabbers I've ever seen used in this type of game. It got me hooked on seeing where the story of this game is going to go in the future. If that's the level of shock value that we can expect from this game (and I hope it is) then it should prove to be one of the better written ones here.
Honestly. I came for the incest and ended up finding a lotta well written stories with it, that only made it better for me. I personally hate to see these kinds of people here like "uuuh there's too many talking, uuuh there's not enough sex", man, if that's what you want go to pornhub(or incestflix on that matter) and let us appreciate some art here.
The answer to this question is both yes and no. Ultimately the incest story is the central plot. It is the main, unavoidable branch. What is avoidable however, is most of the actions taken as a result of choices that lead to incestuous sexual content. For instance, if you make the right choices you can avoid the masturbation scenes in the first release. However, you can't avoid the feelings that prompted those scenes being a possibility.
Ultimately, as I said in the previous post, this game is about the relationship between Alexander and Alexis. It may not work out, there may be dark NTR or Cheating elements, there may be a playthrough of this game that manages to miss any sexual content whatsoever, there may be a relationship between the twins and one of the rivals that is mutual, but each of these possibilities are still coming from a central plot and branch that is the relationship of the twins.
Perhaps this is something @DarthSeduction could look into, I suppose a way around it would be to add a small alternative beginning that could be chosen at the start of the a new game. Something like a small nightmare with a few of the less graphic renders that highlight the tragic event. I don't know how darth feels about doing something like that, but it could help in the long run by not putting people off of playing it.

Her face get's tired of dealing with thisSince the day of initial release, this game absolutely became one of those new games/stories that I anticipate the most, and not only because of the incredible renders either. There's just something about trauma and tragic events and dark stories that appeals to me, because even when something like that occurs, something good can come out of it. That's why, while it was difficult to observe and hard to swallow (no pun intended), I didn't mind the beginning of the story simply because it serves as the catalyst to the story, it's a very well made trigger. The dynamics and the relationship between the twins (platonic or romantic, whichever you choose to go for) feels natural and believable, they're so endearing together, they really do support each other through thick and thin, they're each other's rock. And I guess the fact that they're twins (I've heard it being said that twin siblings might have a stronger connection than siblings that aren't twins) that they're so close and all.
It was only the first release and I already feel for both of the twins, I went to guide them to the light at the end of the tunnel, guide them to happiness

Maybe the problem is just your attitude then, because you're not wrong, there are few games that are "praiseworthy" for their story, but not every story needs to be praiseworthy to be enjoyable. I just watched Venom last night. It completely falls apart in the rushed third act, I still enjoyed it. I liked Bright too, the movie isn't a great story and has some really hamfisted allegories, but I got enjoyment from it. I watch the fast series, they aren't masterpieces by any means, I still have fun with them. I like Sword Art Online, I recognize and acknowledge all the flaws people point out with it, but it didn't stop me from enjoying it.
But this? Was it supposed to be hyperbole? First off, what's wrong with a one night stand? See, your "personal" feelings toward whether or not sex should be in a one night stand context, doesn't enter into any discussion of quality. Secondly, I haven't played many games with one night stands. Moreover, I often complain that female characters in these games have no personal motivations and are pretty much always passive, meaning that the MC does all the work. So if you're playing only games with one night stands and where the MC doesn't do anything, then you aren't playing nearly as many games as you claim.
