Well, this game got issues. But nothing serious. Just follow the walkthrough, play final versions (note the S for plural). And it's all good.
The expectations for this game are much bigger than with the others. It's real 3D. Not captions, GIFs, short videos etc... So people are more critical.

I tried some of the other "games" in the website, and I would say that this the only one I've found that is close to the "game" description.

Others are visual novels. I can replace them with cartoons (images and texts) and GIFs Just scroll one by one. In this one, you can't. You need a graphic engine to play the models etc...

So in technical ambition, this game is a 10/10.
In technical success, this game is a 4/10. The developper is way over his head. The game have no elegance in its design. It's bloated. And it would take a lot of work to rework it from the beginning (of the story, models and animations can be kept).

But nothing a good computer can't handle. SSD, i7 and 1060 6gb and you won't notice it.

Some people don't like the graphics, the models look alike for them. But i don't see it personally.

So, in short, this is maybe the best game you will find here. Because all the others suck really bad. But people have high expectations for it, so they are all here asking for updates.
And 99% of the people who had issues are "special people" who can't read a walkthrough, who don't know how to use cheat mods, who can't research a forum to see that the bug they are talking about is a well known bug reported by 156156156 people who can't research on a forum like them before them. Sometimes one or two posts above their posts.

So, don't sweat it. This is a good little game.

And it made all other games obsolete for all I care. Just scroll, click, click, move dialogue up until you die of old age. Boring.
In The Twist, you can click escape and everything goes "vrrrrrrrrr" (with no sound), you can skip everything you don't like. Amazing function.

Other developers are still into "read, it's good for you, learn English with mistakes from me."

You have a corrupted file, file size is wrong.
Try a different link and try using a software called Jdownloader -

Well, damaged download.
Download again (sorry if you network sucks) and use a proper decompression software. I recommand 7zip. Unless you want to pay for winRAR. (if you do, don't share it, people won't respect you for some mysterious reason nobody dares to question.)

What you have is one of two things, a save incompatibly or your save has become corrupted somehow, and unfortunately there's no way to fix it so that you can use your own saves.

how could I use v0.40 savefile in v0.39 or less?
when I try to load the save file from less v0.40, that doesn't show anything.

in version 0.40 kelly, I mean pharmacy bug. so I want to use that save file in lower version.
