does anyone have this problem in the kitchen scene where you want to "do it raw" with Janice in the kitchen but the game stucks, it won't load animation but is still able to rotate camera around ..

i've also attached the save file, to trigger this problem, once loaded, wait 1 hour Janice will appear in the kitchen then follow the choices "touch her" > "continue" > "pull down pants" > "do it raw" .. this is where it gets stuck View attachment 1251701

After testing your save, found it happened because of the Plan B pills, which is odd, because since you were out of them, it should be missing from your inventory
And so after checking the "mpills" variables, I found it was -1, this can only happen if it was changed manually, and as a result was the cause of the issue you were having, did you by any chance use the cheat mod to change it.

If you did, I would recommend changing it back, you can't have negative numbers and the number of pill can't exceed the amount they're meant to be.

thank you sir, i did not use any cheats since the beginning of the game, i had the pill since early days of the game in inventory and i also wondered how i got it as well, god bless + wish you healthy & wealthy

Yes, it works on Linux with Wine, but you will experience a lot of crashes (memory leaks) and long transition time between locations the longer you play.

Honestly, the game isn't worth the effort.

Worse than bad. But feel free to see it for yourself.

If you decide to play it keep in mind to install corefonts via winetricks and use windowed-mode. Lowering all graphic settings might help too.

i think he meant wine wise,
if ur using windows, the game is worth it or not will end up in ur own preferences wether u like the game or not in general
since it runs just fine with ur specs that u mentioned in previous post,
just use the lowest or fast settings then u'll be fine imo

And here is another little info from the Discord, from KST:

It is true, but it is easier to make new content for the new game due to the better architecture of the game, not because of the game engine
and the game engine is Unity
and it is not quite the same game engine, since the new game using newer unity version and it uses HDRP

So, I think there is a point interest in having KST focus on the new game... It's easier to add content.

So, you will get more content from KST when he works on Seaside Mystery than with the same amount of time spent on The Twist.
