Some things i liked and some i didn't liked: Based on v0.2.1
I won't rate this VN right now. My rating for the VN as it is right now would
lower the overall rating and i don't want that. Its too early to say how things
will turn out. I'll put my criticism here in hope the Dev will maybe read it.
I want to adress some negativ things others said:
1) "Situations, behavier and/or dialogue is unrealistic"
I think its obvious (atleast in my opinon) that this VN is about humor and
doesn't want to be taken too seriously.
2) "Backstabing Wife"
I think the funny "Incest Cult" scene with the Wife (i think its the Wife) made it
clear, the reason for seperating him from his daughters was to avoid doing what
she was told to do. The "thing" others are now trying to do, because she "failed".
I could be wrong though, who knows.
What i liked:
1) Render are looking nice.
2) Different unique looking females.
3) Lewd bodyparts are unique and not the standart ones that are mostly used.
4) Lewd scenes are nice and creative, though a bit to much Bi stuff.
5) The Humor (when the most innocent looking girl showed up and started
talking about her "fat pussy" and "blueballing the mc could kill him" i was
laughing my as off)
Now to the in my opinion "bad" stuff:
1)
Pushover MC: I get he has to be somewhat of a pushover (he wants to fix the fix
the relationship with his daughters) but its way too much.
Even in situation where you take the dominant+ answer it feels like he is the sub.
The daughter who could be sub has been told by her friend just to PRETEND being sub,
to manipulate him. So in the end, even she would be dominant/manipulativ in every
situation whit him in the future from now on.
But, and THIS is the MAIN reason i don't rate this VN right now. It feels the dev wants
to push him at some point to be the dominant part.
The reasons i think that, are (responses of the dev here) and (dialogues of Julissa).
But he can't be dominant in some situation and sub in others. I dont think players would
like that. People who like to be dominant dont like to be dominated. Maybe some.
2)
Almost every Female (atleast for now) feels the same: While they look different
and unique, they all seem to have the same (with slight variations) personality.
I woul call it "standart Slutty/Bi harem personality" even though they are slightly above
"standart" in "crazyness".
While its fun to have a few Slutty/Bi characters in a harem, it gets a bit boring when every
Li seem to have somewhat the same personality. One of the fun parts of HaremVN's or VN's
in general is the diversity of characters, not only in looks but also in personality.
When every girl acts the same, it feels after a while like watching the same Li in every scene.
3)
Manipulating/Behind his back Characters: It feels like
every female is either trying to
or already is manipulating him or has something going on behind his back, or both.
It's anoying and frustating. If it would be just one of them, but this way its just to much and
adds to his "pushover" image. This is a mixed one and partially the reason i don't rate this VN right now.
Some of the manipulating and behind his back stuff is part of the story and hope they come clean whit him.
Atleast with some of it, so he isn't completly in the dark. But sadly the manipulating thats not part of the
"cult" story stays. But maybe then it doesn't feel as bad anymore, because it would be not as much.
What i hope for...:
1) More diversity in personality and behavier.
(I guess i have to accept every female Is Bi and already fucking around. Seems to be the new standart,
even though this VN takes it to a whole new level
wich in this case isn't too bad because its a not so
serious and more humor like VN.)
2) Less pushover MC !!!, i sometimes just wanted to bitchslap the middle daughter.
3) Less manipulating/behind the back.
Even if they have good or atleast not bad intentions, it makes them somewhat less likeable.
4) Dominant
or Sub routes.
For me i doesn't make sense to be dominant towards one and sub towards the other one.
But a option would be nice, because i'm not the only one who plays it and others might
like to be that way.
Overall, considering this is just a early version of the VN, i had a mostly good and fun time reading it.
It will be much less enjoyable if everthing stays the way it is.
But for now i'm curious where this is going and wish the Dev/Dev's success.
