Can someone point me to the All-in-one mod that has gallery/walkthrough built in and is up to date for 1.0 and works with compressed version?

I see lots of comment on how one might get locked into a failure or another route due to some minor mistake, lots of mods, which would you guys consider to be the best course of action for a new player?

Not terribly interested in any of those character previews thus far, but it's still early stages so I'm not going to judge too harshly. But The Visit characters clicked with me right away...
But if you're determined to do it "right," then pick a character you like (or harem or mom+aunt together if that is your choice) and follow the walkthrough in the first post. It's the Handholder link.
I'd say just play through it and pick choices naturally, and see what you end up getting. It takes no time at all to start a new game and skip through text if you want to play a different route afterwards.

So I just played this game again since it has been finished quite a while ago—I was (and am) repulsed by Nikki, both optically (her abysmally big tits just don't do it for me) and character-wise, found the gf boring as heck, and the side flings acceptable, but I ended up loving Karen. Still struggling to find a comparable Milf in an AVN, mostly optically. Well done, Stiglet, it was a game worthy of my time—looking forward to your future products.

You can’t avoid having sex with the aunt the 1st time but after that you can pick a path. There are a bunch of endings including ones for each of the three main girls by themselves.

Ackshually... You can choose only the girlfriend if you don't want to cheat at all. You have to cheat on her, if you want to end up with the others.
