I did what you did with cleaning out my saves in the roaming/renpy folder and deleted the game folder from a folder in my desktop, 0.5 still ends abruptly early even with the new patch

..along with the presistent file? Best option is to delete the folder and let the game make anew when it starts.
I literally deleted the whole game folder in which I extracted to on my pc and all the saves associated with the whole folder associated in the users/roaming/renpy, but I'll try again

Its in the save folder so of no concern when you delete the folder (thats why its simplier to say to delete the folder itself). If you do that and then the game, then extract, then add the 0.5 version lewd patch, it should work.
Yeah I don't know. I would delete the whole game folder, then the whole renpy folder so this would be two different file paths, then would re-extract the game and then apply the 0.5 lewd patch, and then start the game for the first time. Done this on 2 different occasions, yet still stuck for some reason
played it straight without the 0.5 lewd patch for my first attempt at the game not knowing it needed the patch. results were the same

I am having the same problem as pwatcher except that he's done even more. I've junked everything pertaining to the game, reloaded, deleted save file, and played through both with and without patch but both times it ended with the closing credits as she leaves the gym with a back spasm, just as it ended in 0.4. I tried playing through from a save near the end of .4 then two more times starting from scratch ... always the same end. I have not yet cleared out the appdata but am doing that now. Gonna wait for pwatcher's results before I try a third or fourth playthrough though.

however, after apostate metioned that his game ends with karen at the gym and not at the spa, then maybe was the update of 0.5 to end at the spa after MC gets busted with Karen by the masseuse? today was my first play through with the game and after reading the inital comment of the game ending early without the lewd patch, then I thought I fell into the same category as well because despite the lewd patch or no, I have not been able to progress further
basically very small amounts of choice that dont really affect much or are very obvious
