Huh, seems a strange way to do it. Since there was no "Non-Canon" thing on the screen during that dialog it makes it look like it's just a normal bit of branching dialog like what happens when you make one choice over another.

This is a mistake on my part. I intended to have the non-canon window pop up for that dialog, but it slipped my mind and I will be fixing it. As for the other points, I do get what you are saying, but its still the case that while it may be referenced later like it is here, it still wont affect the outcome of what happens and will have no further bearing on the story itself. Its possible these scenes could affect later secrets, but that is not guaranteed, just an idea. I thought about having Vivian reference it during her work bathroom secret instead, I decided not to and just put those few lines there. I just need to fix it so the non-canon screen pops up for those few lines.

This time Dev's inspiration is BaDIK. A young men, single, full of beatiful girls. Sure, Dev loves "making things in family", let's say, but this time the focus is the boy growing up.

Even though Megan is NOT a "love interest" in deeper hinsight, and most likely she will not be part of the harem (as story has other plans with her so far), we can see the confusion about that non-canon-scene. Even though she will have several sexual encounters with MC - that's for sure and it's already obvious.
We still think, it's non-story related bonus material, but we also THINK about re-creating that scene. Maybe we'll have Megan daydreaming about having that sex with MC, as she like younger boys.
We still think that should not be necessary, but for the sake of it, we're thinking about it (no promises though).
As for the further plans:
Megan will NOT be part of the harem, but she will have several sexual encounters with MC (that's why there are love scores).

To explain:
love scores do NOT indicate, how deep the LOVE is, but how far MC can go later on in certain scenes. The higher this score, the farther he can go, meaning the farther the girl ALLOWS him to go. This score does NOT indicate whether a girl is able to join the harem or not. DOn't assume things because we named some variable the easiest way - you don't know how we intend to use them - just saying.
I really can't reveal more of the plot at this point, but it might be a useful information to know about that.

Megan is a powerful woman, leading her own business - she knows what she wants and uses people for her benefits (leaving to your imagination). She's playing an important role in the story, but not as harem girl in the end. (things can change, but these are the current plans.
Originally we did that non - canon sex scene NOT with MC, because we didn't want the player to get wrong thoughts about Megan's role in the game at this point. We didn't want the player to think that Megan could be a main love interest. Maybe we went overboard just because we wanted to add some lewd content. Sometimes not all spectators are happy; there will be those who will criticize and those who will enjoy the game. I wouldn't worry so much about one woman who at some point might turn out to be an enemy or someone who wants to play with fire with Mc. This is a game for a thief, and in such a story there will always be those who cannot be trusted much. The main thing is for us to take a closer look at our harem and not quarrel over a girl who is a non-love interestin. In such games, sometimes you need enemies that for some reason Mc will interact, for the sake of tension, the main thing is to give the game time.

If we already reveal which person will end in a harem, it would take a lot of "excitement to figure out" out of the game.

to clarify "harem":
We see harem as "living together and having sexual relations with MC" - not saying that there will be massive group orgies though!
Having sex, even multiple times with any other girl outside, doesn't make that girl a harem girl. So far, there are 5 girls planned (maybe there will be a few more - we'll see after some time) for "real" harem, and Megan is not one of them.

Hmm, given popularity of walkthrough mods (including the one you have built-in) i'd say you're probably overestimating players' desire and excitement in figuring out the game, vs just clicking on the green option to collect the sex scenes. And that "excitement" isn't the word the players are going to use when they find out a character they were pursuing in the earnest isn't actually a LI (or a harem-enabled LI) But it's, of course, up to you.

IIRC, for this game Hyperserver was promoted to have certain amount of input in how things will shape out.

actually i am more involved than ever before about story in this game. You noticed a change in way of writing? Well - that's one of the bigger parts of me being involved for example.
Hearsz i sstill the main writer, but all written scenes go though my hands, and i more than once talked to hearsz to change some lines (not to fall back in old habbits). Also fleshing out the scenes and what will happen in certain ways is about me being mainly involved.
But even though:
Sometimes, i get surprised myself - so for example i didn't get notice about that Megan scene at all, as it was written in short notice without me knowing about. We are 5 people working on the game - and sometimes it will happen that something is getting implemented without all others knowing.

That’s nice, fleshed out scenes and dirty talks can make a good scene become great ones.

so far, imo it’s an improvement especially in the animation and sex scene department.

how was the reaction from your paying subs so far? And how did they like the limo scene?

And based on that the characters could have gotten a lot of points... URM doesn't see any love points for any of the characters either... So when does this stat trigger?
