Not a bad game overall. Animations, renders and the girls are all fantastic. The build up of sexual relationship between MC and his family is also coming along nicely instead of jumping right into sex. But where This is Not Heaven falls short is the story telling and character development. The pacing of the writing feels too forced and cheesy for my taste. For example, on the first day of MC taking up a role as an errand boy in a modelling agency, after discovering the hardship of the business, he abruptly becomes the knight in shining armor and steps up to essentially become partners with the boss/director (Megan) in an attempt to turn the company around. This is a guy who not only knows nothing about the ins and outs of the fashion/modelling industry, but is also someone who for the last few years practically lived as a monk, cut off from the rest of the world located in some sort of spiritual fantasy la la land. It could have worked if say the character development, or back story for the MC was more fleshed out, but unfortunately at current state we know close to nothing about him. So for the girls, who are industry veterans with years of experience, to follow the lead of this random errand boy first day on his job is quite frankly, ridiculous.
At its current state I'd probably rate the game a 4/5. It has potential so I'll write up a proper review once more of the game is updated.
