Thanks for replying. Attached are 2 save files, one with a new thing I found, incessent pounding of an alva (9-5), and another with another mating glitch (9-6).

Sorry about saying traps are unupgradable, I put myself under the impress traps meant every trap, not basic traps. I always got the fire traps and tried to upgrade those. I figured out what you mean by upgradable now.

For the knight and knave, attached will be 2 screenshots and a save file (2-6). I had a save with many more turns than the attached save file, but that is post demon invasion, and the smuggler's den is captured. The knave has diving apparently, so I guess I just got lucky/unlucky for way, way too long.

On the topic of underwater lairs, 6 build slots still may be too many for the grotto. I literraly just sat back, kidnapped as many burghesses as I could before I got bored, and then kept a few manned cages for mermaids. As they dont even try to escape and drown trying, it was risk free. Also, you say there is 2 lairs already? What is the second? I have only encountered the kraken once, is that it?

For the money display glitch, I dont think I'll be able to reproduce it in a save file, only a screenshot. I'll try to snap one next time it comes up.

Sorry about the edit, had to reattach a save file

Mid-interaction saves are useless to me. Give me either main screen or lair screen saves, error traceback, and instructions on how you got the error. Or just instructions, including girl names, if there's no error.

Edit: Okay, I found the error in the first save. Still no clue what's supposed to be wrong in the second (9-6).

I always got the fire traps and tried to upgrade those.
Yeah, traps aren't modular. Once you've got an advanced trap, you're stuck with it until you demolish.

For the knight and knave, attached will be 2 screenshots and a save file (2-6).

The knave has diving apparently, so I guess I just got lucky/unlucky for way, way too long.
The Knight also has a nightmare steed, which at least theoretically can get downgraded to a kelpie when needed. Neither of them has found your lair yet, though.

On the topic of underwater lairs, 6 build slots still may be too many for the grotto. I literraly just sat back, kidnapped as many burghesses as I could before I got bored, and then kept a few manned cages for mermaids.
Yeah, but you'll be running a very boring lair with just 6 slots. You probably want a workshop, a hatchery, an altar, and one or more cages, breeding pits and milking farms. This leaves you with no room for traps, so thieves will be much more effective unless you get a lot of minions. A thief can go through half her level of each type of minion (regular, posionous, elite), or double that if she specialises. She has a lot more trouble with certain traps.

Edit: A lair with just 6 or even 12 slots suffers a lot, since effective breeding requires a Breeding Pit per girl. The girls just hanging around are a lot slower to come to term, and they will also be limited to 6 (or 12) total once I update. Not to mention foregoing milking and extensive minion improvement via cages.

Even a plain manor house has 20 slots, which is quite a bit more.

As they dont even try to escape and drown trying, it was risk free.
Most of the good girl types (the inhuman ones) can swim, though. The Impregnable Peak is actually much safer in that regard. But angel and demon girls will still be flying away.

Also, you say there is 2 lairs already? What is the second? I have only encountered the kraken once, is that it?
The Kraken has nothing to do with it. The second is the Underwater Palace, home of the Triton.

For the money display glitch, I dont think I'll be able to reproduce it in a save file, only a screenshot. I'll try to snap one next time it comes up.
If you get it, take the autosave in addition to the screenshot. That'll at least give me something to start from.

Kept a starting save and tried moving. It works. Either the triton event has very low odds, or something else is the problem. I only got the triton event after growing a 2nd blue head.

The triton castle does have very low odds of showing up, about 1/170 or worse. Will be upgraded to about 1/135. This thing is rare.

Does this version have a post game mode? Like keep playing after the endings.
No. But if you can stave off the demon invasion, the game essentially becomes sandbox after a while.

Challenge old knight; I thought I fixed it already....

call arena(encounter=['old_knight', '']) from _call_arena_68
Apparently you didn't, since the 'phantom dog' is still there.

Attached is an example save file of a bug. Each time it is loaded, it generates a new description, but the end result is all the same no matter what, a peasant Mia. No matter if it says they sac an angel and an archmage therefore generates, or an alv and a dark magister, or even a peasant and novice. Always the same Peasant Mia. I went on anyway, and another sacrifice alv event generated, and I didnt load/reload. Still got Peasant Mia. Is the different screens generating than the captured maiden a intended feature, or a bug? Just incase you need a save to replicate the differing screens, attached is 5-1.

Another issue: On my first playthrough, I played a blue dragon. I must have scoured the Countryside at least 200 times, and searched the forest maybe 100. No Alvs. Ever. Now I am on my 2nd or 3rd plythrough (I forget which), and I have captured 4 Alvs from the countryside, and 2 alvs from the forest.

Thirdly, a question: How much goddamn mana is needed to get to the enchanted forest? I have killed a ranger, gotten the waystone, generated a gold head, recalled and went to the enchanted forest at 9/9 mana a couple times now. No option to spend mana is presented, is the required mana 10 or something? Also on that note, after choosing the leave the woods option after recalling the enchanted forest, the enchanted forest location disappears from the available list of recalled locations.

Edit: In the edited attached save, 5-1 again (sorry about that, I use it as my quicksave), going to the cathedral, confess into magical clouding brings up the usual options, but as soon as whatever menu it leads you to is finished, the second choce screen (take to lair or release) does not appear. Wouldnt be an issue, but I want a nun, and whatever option I choose leads to no nun taken.

Edit 2: Save file 9-6. Literally 3 of the exact same alva. Why tho? I got 2 seperate duplicates from sacrifice events after capturing an alva from the enchanted forest. One of those was supposed to be a damn angel, for dragon's sake! (BTW I did get 10 mana and entered, bit exorbitant, dontcha think?) Edit 2.2, added screenshots of triple alva

Probably the same bug addressed here, improper sacrifice levels.

There are no Alvish maidens in the forest until you've sacked their Grove. Until then, you need to either actually get into the Alvish part of the forest, or rely on them coming out to help people (high poverty, the elf girls trying to conduct helpful rituals). The latter is probably where you got your 4+2 specimens. Another rare source is the Wizard's tower in the mountains, and there are some more found in the city (although only one is guaranteed).

The Alves don't really have a very strong defense otherwise. The Treant is much weaker than the other big hitters, and dwarves have at least one if not two very tough champions. Elves bar your way with magic, like proper magic pansies. :D

Also on that note, after choosing the leave the woods option after recalling the enchanted forest, the enchanted forest location disappears from the available list of recalled locations.
Same thing with the dwarves. I've addressed this a bit, but all the event trees are pretty exhausting to test... :(

going to the cathedral, confess into magical clouding brings up the usual options, but as soon as whatever menu it leads you to is finished, the second choce screen (take to lair or release) does not appear.
For some reason, Eliont didn't allow you to capture the temporarily enchanted nun. I see no big deal here, and will just remove the enchantment and allow you to kidnap her as normal.

I want a nun
In the meanwhile, just kidnap her without all the magicking. It does require a large-ish dragon or wings, though.

Edit:
and another with another mating glitch (9-6).
What was that glitch? I could see nothing wrong there, but I'm also running an updated version of the mod.

Edit2: Also, I'm not really certain I want to nerf the inaccessible lairs too much. Even the 12 slots aren't really that good once you start wanting to make a proper lair. Girls running away is not really that big an issue, so the only thing these lairs really have going for them is being Knight- and Thief-proof. Since I'm making those two upgrade a bit faster, that won't be so strong anymore, either. So right now, I'm leaving both at 12 slots. I can be convinced otherwise, though.

I dont quite get how to make poring, does it need a pregnant girl, or a girl that has already given birth, or both?

In the mod, 'porings' are just called 'milk'. You only need a girl who has given birth, and a higher birth counter gives 'more' milk (abstracted as pricier milk). If she's also currently pregnant, she's just safe from miscarriage death, no additional effects on milking.

Doesn't the room description tell you all that?

29-07-20 release said:
Produces female milk at the cost of some nutrients. A subject who has given birth is required. She will lose 1/10 HP every day, and incurs increased living expenses. Childbirth is always successful.
Looks pretty unambigous to me... :cautious:

Check your item filters and pages.

TBH, Ive just been looking at the after expenses screen popup, and been hoping ""Milking Farm" 2s" means I am profiting 2s per day, but if in fact there is supposed to be an item produced, well I aint getting it, I can tell you that.

Also, some idiotic things that are unimportant: Is the darkwood huntresses supposed to be an Oni? I have gotten that event twice and both times I have gotten a different oni. Also, is there any consequences to the virus event? I went through a couple different routes using save/load and each ending I got lead only to a lot of treasure and no new toy(s). Also, the translation is a bit wonky there, some of the names being untranslated and all. Also, the here drink this potion phrase being repeated, like, 5 times with no variation makes for a slight break in immersion. Past that, nice event. And for my final inane question, how do I switch between damage types? With a multi head dragon it seems the only element being processed is the last one chosen? Being able to have a wheel with all available damage types would be neat, and a click modifies the damage, another modifies it to the next one, etc etc. Or else a different skill for each head to taint your strikes with that element. I can recognize both those suggestions would be a pain to implement, so I have a third useless suggestion: Reduce the goddamn resistances! It's all or nothing currently, and that is not fun or interesting, its just a grind since you cannot choose damage type. Why the hell does a meat bag in some heavy armour (Dwarf Champion) have the same resistance value as a astral projection or a literal being of pure metal???

The huntress can be oni or beastkin, maybe even demon?

The virus event can end the game, or net you a captive, depending on dialog choice

No, these are your additional expenses. You can see the individual versions of these when you examine the Milking Farm buildings as well.

but if in fact there is supposed to be an item produced, well I aint getting it, I can tell you that.
Are you sure? The inventory is kinda unintuitive, so check it thoroughly. I even tested the release version and got my milk produced without problems. :cautious:

Is the darkwood huntresses supposed to be an Oni?
Yeah, not everything is a catgirl in there. There are very few onis in the game, actually. I might make her into a 50-50 chance of being an oni or a catgirl.

Also, is there any consequences to the virus event?
There's the third ending in there, which is pretty major. Nothing else game-changing, though.

I went through a couple different routes using save/load and each ending I got lead only to a lot of treasure and no new toy(s).
Well, you can get the elf or the main heroine as toys... :D

Also, the translation is a bit wonky there, some of the names being untranslated and all.
I haven't really gotten to redoing the virus event. This thing still has massive amounts of unproofed, almost directly machine-translated text. :(

And for my final inane question, how do I switch between damage types?
You don't. The game picks the most damaging option itself. Since most enemies don't have a lot of resistances, that might turn out somewhat random in practice.

Reduce the goddamn resistances! It's all or nothing currently, and that is not fun or interesting, its just a grind since you cannot choose damage type.
There will be some intermediate physical armours in the future, but I'm really not keen on changing the resistances. The idea is that you customise your dragon for the challenge by picking the right heads.

Why the hell does a meat bag in some heavy armour (Dwarf Champion) have the same resistance value as a astral projection or a literal being of pure metal???
The Dwarf Champion is very much an ex-PC in legendary, heavily enchanted dwarven armour made of exotic/magical materials. The most badass dwarf ever to ass bad, so to speak. You're not supposed to challenge him physically or via direct magic. Acid, freezing and lightning are what you use against him.

Edit:
The huntress can be oni or beastkin, maybe even demon?
Currently only oni, can be a catgirl in the future. Demons are a bit too powerful to use here.

Forced a demon ending and there is no post game? straight to main menu.

The homunculi aren't actual demons, they just look like they are. :D You can use the Witches' potions to do that to all your other girls as well.

The only places to get actual demon girls are either the Darkwood event, or capturing really high-level Thieves.

Forced a demon ending and there is no post game? straight to main menu.
No. You won, the world is forever changed. Nothing of the old Kingdom really survives, so post-game would be really awkward.

You mean keep the seals up? Maybe I misunderstood this.

The looks are only for sacrifice I see. Wont work for pregnancy.
